This mod got incorporated into the Guns of Bretonnia v4 mod. Looks fantasatic but comes with a lot of other changes.

He literally says in the description:
"it is not an updated version of Guns, Smoke & Spectacle
brutus' mod gives different vfxes to different units through animations
mine dosent use animations, it just overrides the vanilla muzzle effects"

weird, I don.t have latest dwarf dlc, so I cant test it, but it works on every other unit.

It works for Artilery mostly. Not gunners in my game at least.

I just tried it. It think is actually possible to run this mod parallel to the other mod (Extreme Smoke and Flash). This way, units that normally wouldn't work anymore still get a good effect (like handgunners). Meanwhile, the really nice and flashy effects for cannons, etc., are retained. Currently I am not 100% sure need some further testing

With this mod there is a bug in Malakai, he shoots 3 shots but only the first bullet comes out and does damage, although the smoke effect is three shots

it works on every gunpowder faction I've played, chorfs have the best effects and thunderers/handgunnders/outriders etc even slayer pirates has good vfx
