could you add an option to stop time then you go into a free cam mode with noclip (keybind: j maybe?) and then you click anywhere and you would go there (limited by the range setting) and also an option the destroy things in your path when using the free cam option

I just wanted to say as a dedicated dishonored player this blink is actually more enhanced than the one used in the games, this ability is very fun to use. Though it would be fun to have a rats ability to.

The mod constantly calculates the target position while you preview (obviously), and stores the initial player position as soon as the blink starts. While blinking the next player position is calculated by lerping the source and target position, with an easing function so it starts fast and ends slowly. Details here [www.desmos.com]

You can view the source code here [github.com]. It's ugly and you can't "build" it because you need a custom tool I made that's still unreleased.

I'm currently working under the hood on some tools to make modding easier. Once they're in a decent state I'll have more time to polish this mod and make hopefully even better ones.

Oh yes, i completely forgot about transparency. You are right! That would be an issue in closed spaces.

@Dzage Do you mean a sprite on the ground? If so It might be a little too complicated:
During development I experimented with spawning particles and lights at the ground, indicating where the player would fall after blinking. It looked good, but in some cases raycasting straight down didn't predict the position properly, and made the mod look pretty unpolished. So the falling particles that the mod uses now are a more accurate and natural-looking prediction, since they slide down slopes and stuff.

I would say that the only thing that could improve it is sprites on a ground. I would recomend to take a look at Grimoire mod who figured out a way to place sprites on a ground.
