I've always found it stupidly odd how tyranids literally drink the soup'd biomass of planets but don't remove rivers when consuming tiles. let alone just suffering the penalties from it since everything is either infantry or monstrous.

That's odd, bridges and roads both apply the same trait, they shouldn't act differently. Haven't played in a long time, possibly a new bug. I'll have a look.

I cant get the bridges to give me movement increase. The roads work but not the bridges.

@ Omnipotent Erman - No, AI players won't build roads. There's very limited scope for getting the AI to do anything, they barely use vanilla features. They'll take advantage of the movement bonus from human players' roads though.
Omnipotent Erman Nov 16, 2024 @ 2:31pm
Can computer/AI players also build roads?

@ hitesh_no1 - Yes, they clear all brush and rocks from their tiles, including the resource bonus ones. It was originally just a visual choice, but it seemed appropriate to leave in. Also allows you to reclaim the third building slot for a city tile.

Alright thanks mate.

Hello. I'm trying out this mod and its really. Always seemed handy like what they had in CIV.
One issue i've come across though. I'm trying to connect two cities by road. I built a road on a tile that had rocks.... and it destroyed the rocks so the mining bonus disappeared. Is this supposed to happen?
Goddamnit, Clown  [author] Oct 18, 2024 @ 6:23am
@Synnercy - A road or a bridge occupies its tile, they don't join two tiles together.

They can be built on any land tile without wireweed, forest, or ruins. Bridges where there's a river, roads where there isn't.

They don't interact with cliffs or ocean tiles, I wanted to tackle those but don't think there's a way.

Are there any limits between two points of lands when building a bridge or is literally every tile you can move on?
Goddamnit, Clown  [author] Sep 23, 2024 @ 7:58am
@Invertin - Yes, Thunderfires build them. It's usually whichever unit would normally clear tiles.
Invertin Sep 23, 2024 @ 5:00am
can space marines build roads?

@Orionox - Should be fine with almost anything.

The features and actions are new and aren't likely to collide with anything. The mod gives those actions to specific units though, so any entirely new units won't have them regardless of whether they're builders.
Orionox Jun 17, 2024 @ 9:31am
Does this work with mods that change some of the vanilla units?
