They didn't forget. They're just prioritizing more Project America maps. According to their Discord, they got about three or four in the works right now.

Is there something going on with terrain height? In the editor everything looks normal, but once I spawn in, trees fall and it looks like the ground is now 6-10ft up the tree, making the branches ground-level. It makes it very lush-looking and dense. Fair game if this was intended.

This was observed near the trailer at the firing range. Did confirm it also exists at the treeline in the field to the northwest. I checked the river and the water didn't change.

@NotTodayWillJ There's more to the San Francisco Bay Area than just San Francisco. There's five Counties in the entire Bay Area. So when I mention the SF Bay Area I'm talking all five Counties included.

There's also a abandoned map of New York, that's super derpy. So large scale city maps seem to be a bit of a problem for modders.

@SVaughan There is a map of Seattle, but the buildings are illogically placed, most on roads, its an extensive map, if PA were to make one of a city in such scale it would be great for San Francisco to be that, if its quantity over quality that is.

This isn't the only map. Project America is a massive undertaking to try and collectively create maps for all aspects of the United States. This map was the first of what will hopefully become many maps.

Speaking of if, anyone from @Project America would like to pick my brain about aspects of the San Francisco Bay Area, let me know. I'd love to contribute any input that I can.

This isn't the only map they're building in their Project. They're aiming for multiple US cities. This one just happened to be first because of convenience.

Authors literal name is the Project name. Project America. Emphasize on America.

Make it bigger... add the everglades and more...

This terrain was sorta a tech demo to prove if it was even possible.

We are considering in the future doing a "Limestone 2035" terrain that is more detailed out.

This terrain in its current form is based on the real world location.

Cleanest intro video to an Arma map I've seen. Very nice, and I appreciate the small file size. A little more suburban would be nice, but I understand that quickly becomes an FPS/file size issue. Something like the Wolverines mission from OG MW2 would be pretty neat though.

very clean buildings all round, maby a little bit of grime and dirt?

Very good for the road textures, it's not that E76 dark black but the original american feeling.
Hopefully we will see more terrains and more object with the same quality as the postal office.

As a Native born and raised, i condome this mod.

We will try to fine tune the railroad tracks in time. We may totally redo how they are place in the future.

The railroad tracks seem to look strange in some places, like some of them seem to be to high then the other tracks, even the railway bridge is little off, do you think you can fix this issue?.

Is the server key for the required objects mod supposed to work for this as well? I have both installed on my server and am getting a signature mismatch error for each mod. Any ideas on why it doesn't work? The rest of mods I have installed work fine but maybe I'm doing something wrong. I really want to host your map... it's easily the best rural US themed terrain for arma to date IMHO.

As a life long Floridian I will give you some sage advice if you play on this map... DO NOT GO SWIMMING IN PONDS... stuff lives in those waters that will eat you.

Please also sign the WBG island [Woody and Lincon] mods. None of them have the .bikey [Great terrains mods by the way].

I think this map should be much bigger, with some more towns, crossings, monuments, wide farmlands, forests...
