for some reason there is a bug in the base game that prevents gravships from launching when using a fluid ideoligeon so if you use this be warned that it will effectively disable them till the bug is fixed

Sorry if asked, steam doesn't have a search function for some reason.

Is there a way to have a set up like this, but make it so you can add new specialists with your reform points instead? Would be nice if you could slowly add more specialist types as you progress your religion

@Mustard Jelly 1.3 is the oldest version where ideology is a thing, i don't understand what you are asking for, if it is broken on some version, please share your log

I need help. I subscribed to this and added it to an existing world, also if this is important, I was using the vanilla ideology expanded. when ever i try to change something in my ideoligion, there is no option to do so.

Is there a way to make it so that you are able to load a saved fluid ideoligion without the error message that forces you to start from scratch?

This mod seems to be broken, When I hit "make ideology fluid" in the world creation, it just breaks the menu, and when I reform ideology but cancel that, I cannot do anything ideology related anymore.

So i encountered an interesting bug-- well, i guess its more a miscompat? i stopped using this mod after so i haven't been able to check--

If you use a character editor to change your ideo, at all, while this mod is a thing, it seems that it processes it as being an entirely new ideology rather than rewriting the ideology that you currently have.

Which is annoying if you only notice after having saved it with the bugged ideology situation.

it also fills up my rituals randomly, changes names of the roles, adds clothing rules to roles etc.

can I use this mod to urgrade my basegame playthrough to a (fake) ideolgy start (havent purchased ideology yet but want to keep playing my old save... and add an ideology to my people but also to the other factions)

@pocoandrollgames Yes, it enables the fluid ideoligon feature for all ideologions and factions, you still have to go trough the vanilla process of colecting development points. Any mod affecting the way fluid ideoligion development work will affect them too (so mods changing the fluid ideo cost or interface are compatible).

I may be a little bit slow but if I´m correct... this mod allows to edit my ideologion AND also the ideologion of all the other factions? I´m I correct? For example, if there is a Female Supremacy Ideologion in one faction but I want it to change to a Male Supremacy Ideologion mid-game then it´s possible? Sorry if it´s an obvious question. TY.

@joshi.toshiba it shouldn't be a problem, you press the Create Custom(fixed) ideology button on the ideology creation screen and it turns fluid on game start (if you use the normal Create Custom (fluid) button it uses the vanilla restriccions of one meme only)

Remember to disable this mod if you're trying to build a brand new ideology. I've been trying to for the last hour and didnt understand why i could only have 1 meme. It may just be me being stupid but i'm putting this comment here in case other people have the same problem as me.

@yoann I agree, it should split the ideologian to a new seperate doctrine rather than modifiying an entire separate faction's ideologian

"including both the player's and other faction's": that means I can't reform the ideoligion of another faction only for my pawns, right?

I would prefer to split an ideoligion when I reform the one of another faction (the archist one of the ancients faction), do you think I can do it by save edit with/without your mod?

@shane, can confirm I've consistently had to rebuild altars before installing this mod. Giant pain in the ass, never found the cause, but easily solved by just god moding in a new altar.

@shane_357 not this mods fault, i do recall that being an issue before i made this mod (and seen other people have it without this mod installed), but i do not know the cause, and not sure if it is just a vanilla bug, this mod just enables the vanilla ideology development system on the ideos, without altering how it works, if you have a problem because of the reform itself something else is the problem.

Also the altar doesn't have ANY of the rituatls, not even changing roles.

Okay I have a problem, I changed my ideology but now none of my pawns recognise that their buildings are built. It's the same buildings, I even deconstructed and rebuilt all of them, but they all have the 'desired' need. Even the altar!
