man i tried to update this using chat gpt and got it work and spawns worked but always get errors when trying to recharge a battery or recharge it with a generator, still gonna mess around with it and if can get it working will ask author if i can upload if i can get it working properly

this mod is awesome thx it's helped a lot and felt quite realistic

makes me wish car related things had more animations

I would love to see this in B42 Great mod to have for 10 Years Later playthrough

This would be a great workaround for the build 42 car battery issues. Any chance of an update?

Found my first jumper last night. Haven't used it yet, but going be so helpful. Thanks for making this.

@tax it's portable lol. carry it in your car, if you leave it on accidentally or had to abandon it for some time it is easy to get back and fetch it. especially when you're a few years in without a single charged battery around you. beats carrying a 40 kg generator hogging up your car seats.

(for tax, hi i didnt know a normal generator can recharge them, but i guess if yo havent found a generator, you can at least still recharge a car battery :)

Yes, the issue is still persistent. I can't fix it from my side since Pimp My Ride overrides the function which is supposed to show the Jumpstart option, so the option never shows up.

It's an interesting idea, I could look into it in the future, since I am currently focused on fixing bugs and issues I've been leaving for far too long

thats interesting :) some kind of device like a joule thief capacitor to merge together every last bit of energy from low-energy batteries of any type (car/aa/etc) for use with something more powerful. (i think in real life, energy only tries to equalise from higher to lower, but hey)

I bumped down the spawn rate a tiny bit in vehicles trunks

The mod conflict with Pimp My Ride is not fixable from my side unfortunately. It's due to the way code is handled in Pimp my ride and its out of my control. I contacted the dev so that we can resolve the issue but haven't received a reply yet. Until then, there's nothing I can do

Bro spawn rate of Jumpstarter is too high imo. I found it inside of almost every vheicle and even found 2 of them in one car

I loved the idea of this mod but it was kinda not needed for my server but i just started a new server yesterday and lawd jesus this mod saved my a$$ as i do a hardcore start and ya, this mod is a 10/10. Thank u again for it :)

LOL, thanks man, I am constantly either forgetting to turn off the vehicle or when I do turn the car off, I forget the lights. I look forward to giving this a try. Great work.

This mod is kind of useless knowing that if you get lucky and have enough skill and a screwdriver to change the battery, that could be over 15%.

@KowboY I've done some testing and unfortunately still no luck figuring out what the problem is. Do you get any errors at all? If not, a list of vehicle-related mods which you are using and may mess with this mod would be helpful.

I'm running a dedicated server with many players..... not exactly an option to remove all mods to test something unfortunately. Just thought I'd bring it to your attention

If you disable other mods, does the option show up?

Not sure if it's FRused cars or auto mechanic mod or what is affecting it but for the life of me I can not get this to work. Tried a variety of vehicles all batteries under 10%, jump pack is fully charged, in inv, in backpack, on ground but the UI option does not show up
