Thanks YiQianKuai. Unfortunately the translation feature on Unfinished Business still seems to cause issues. The only thing I can recommend is to report translation errors that are messing with the underlying 'code' like this. You can report it to the Unfinished Business developers on the Solasta discord. Short of that, all I can recommend is to play the english untranslated version which I know is unsatisfying.

Thank you for creating such an amazing mod! :steamthumbsup:As non-English-speaking players, we translated it into Chinese using the Unfinished Business mod, but encountered some strange bugs. For example, in the forest of the initial chapter, we need to kill 4 wolves, but the quest doesn’t complete even after we’ve killed all of them. What should I do?
ThonLoc Nov 16 @ 7:37pm
Great module so far.
ThonLoc Nov 16 @ 7:36pm
Thanks for the speedy reply. Yep that was it, I got the 'other encounter' when I reloaded and came back later.
Artyoan  [author] Nov 16 @ 7:24pm
@ThonLoc, is that in the graveyard part of the western forest? It's either a success or failure on the roll on one of the gravestones. I don't remember which. Two different potential encounters.
ThonLoc Nov 16 @ 7:09pm
How do you trigger the minotaur? I did it once by accident, and don't know how to do it again.
Artyoan  [author] Nov 10 @ 6:41pm
Thanks, both of you. That area was an experiment which taught me that, for better or worse, not everyone likes puzzles so much. Though the one's that dislike it tend to be more vocal about it. Lesson learned. At least some oddballs out there did get a kick out a non-combat challenge though. ;)

Glad you both enjoyed the campaign.

Super fun adventure! I see the people winging about the witch's hut and I get it, I myself would Never have gotten the unusual and outside-the-box puzzles - to be fair I would not even have Known that I was missing them, my Better Gaming Half however totally keyed in and was hugely satisfied with solving the challenge! We are looking forward to the next one.
Weird Beard Nov 10 @ 5:47pm
Super fun campaign. Played through with my wife and enjoyed the adventure. I see a fair number of complaints around the witches hut. Not sure if I figured out everything but got to the witch and figured out what the empty hallway was about on the way out. It took a fair bit of time but I liked the challenge. My wife, on the other hand, was less into it and went to make dinner while I was obsessing. :D
Artyoan  [author] Nov 6 @ 4:18am
@playjplay, the button should open a door that is back down the hallway to the north. You might try the button multiple times if it didn't open. Then that door will lead you to where you need to be for the wrappings.
playjplay Nov 5 @ 9:55pm
I cleaned out the Necropolis yet I cannot find the wrappings - there was secret door that still had a wall behind it, there was also a button that seemed not to do anything. Great Campaign plz help me progress.
Redsnertz Nov 1 @ 4:50am
Ah, that's cool! I'll go back and continue then.
Artyoan  [author] Oct 30 @ 6:14pm
@Redsnertz, the map looks a lot more intimidating than the actual puzzle is. The first puzzle in the Witch Hut is the only actual mandatory one and isn't all that complex. The second puzzle that everyone has an issue with is entirely optional. Just take the portal in the resting room to bypass it. It wasn't optional when I first made the campaign but is now.

The rest of the Witch Hut is either simple combat, an optional d6 roll for loot/combat, or hidden transporters which are also optional.
Redsnertz Oct 30 @ 5:27pm
On to Morrow's Deep, then.
Redsnertz Oct 30 @ 5:20pm
Yah, I just pulled up the map and I can see 14 teleporters and 5 locked doors. I'm out.

How about an "I hate long puzzles" option on the initial podium that bypasses all the combat, XP, items, and what I find tedious? I'd gladly pay to bypass it. Maybe require the sacrifice of 10+ magic items as well. I've currently got 14, not counting full stacks of magic projectiles, and I don't particularly hoard things. I just haven't been to town in a while.
Artyoan  [author] Sep 25 @ 2:36pm
Thanks Penitent. I did change the Witch Hut in the six man version entirely due to feedback on puzzles. Some people loved it, some not so much.
Penitent Pilgrim Sep 25 @ 11:35am
Review: 4 out of 5 stars
This module is very well made and a lot of fun, however if you're not a fan of puzzles then the end will be frustrating. The final dungeon (aka the Witch Hut) has this web of teleport and door puzzles that, even with the map provided by the designer, was too much of a chore for me to decipher. It simply wasn't any fun. I'm not a fan of puzzles and I am not good at puzzles. If you love puzzles then you will probably love this module.

The quality of work on this module is amazing and the story is a lot of fun. Even if you bounce off the final dungeon like I did it will still be a lot of fun playing up to that point.
Artyoan  [author] Sep 24 @ 6:07pm
There is an odd bug with default Solasta where it will switch difficulty back to something previously set on a different campaign. I have no idea why it happens, but it's probably that bug.
Cpt. Tinman Sep 24 @ 5:37pm
LMAO, nevermind, the game was set to story mode
Cpt. Tinman Sep 24 @ 5:04pm
Alright, so I've played this campaign before and it was great. But now I'm playing in a game with some friends, and we're level 3 and it seems like all the enemies are only rolling minimum damage thus far? does anyone know anything about this issue?
Artyoan  [author] Sep 19 @ 4:46pm
I personally prefer the six man campaigns to the regular four. They are harder overall but I find the battles to be more engaging even if they are also lengthier. Also nice to just have six characters for the novelty of it.
Penitent Pilgrim Sep 19 @ 4:40pm
Thank you very much, I am really enjoying the module and have already gotten the 6 man Morrow's deep campaign for my next run.
Artyoan  [author] Sep 19 @ 4:32pm
This is a map of the Witch Hut from within the DM: https://i.imgur.com/THKa4hj.jpeg

The green circles are the only necessary portals to take, also noting where they place you after stepping on them. The bottom yellow rectangle is where you enter the Witch Hut at. The three red circles are encounters that must be completed in order to finish the area. The blue circle denotes the door that opens when the red circles are complete.

There is an optional puzzle with a lot of teleporters that gives people trouble. Here is a map with the red numbers denoting the order to solve it. https://i.imgur.com/6r6AS61.jpeg

Don't need to complete that puzzle in order to beat the area though.
Penitent Pilgrim Sep 19 @ 3:57pm
I'm bumbling around the Witch's Hut and have gotten lost with all the teleports. I read on Reddit that there is map of this part of the campaign but can't find a link, can you help with that? Thanks.
Penitent Pilgrim Sep 14 @ 5:15pm
Thanks a lot!
Artyoan  [author] Sep 14 @ 3:47pm
@Penitent Pilgrim, the last one at the hut should be behind some trees just to the left of the hut itself. Basically right next to it.
Penitent Pilgrim Sep 14 @ 3:46pm
I'm near the end but stuck on the Witch of the Swamp quest. I found the two ritual stones in the central jungle and the one at the Caer Eldon outskirts but when I returned to the Witch Hut I don't see the last ritual stone. What have I missed?
alkalinecube Sep 4 @ 3:38pm
Ah, thank you so much!
Artyoan  [author] Sep 4 @ 1:34pm
@alkalinecube, for the Burial Wrappings you need to return to the Necropolis which was the place just west of the swamp encampment. The one you traveled through and first met Anselm in. There is a door there that you can now enter and explore the area further. Keep those addendums though as those are needed for a later quest.
alkalinecube Sep 4 @ 12:51pm
Hello, having a lot of fun so far. Stuck at "Find the Burial Wrappings". I found the notes and addendums 1-6, but two doors in the tower are still locked. I don't see any missed chests on the map and don't know where to go.
Artyoan  [author] Aug 26 @ 12:15pm
@cervell d'ocells, thanks for the feedback and review. Still makes the day for me to hear. :) Glad you enjoyed it.
cervell d’ocells Aug 26 @ 11:46am
Played all the way through on scavenger difficulty with a strong but not over-optimized party. 10/10 campaign, would highly recommend. The story is excellent, the fights very well balanced and varied, and the setting is well-organized, arguably better than the original. Just as observations, and not as a criticism, I will say the hardest part around the campaign was around level 5, just after reaching the isle: that was the only time I needed to long rest after every fight. I particularly appreciate the effort put into balance in the endgame. In the main campaign I have frequently felt that the fights were too easy on scavenger but too much of a slog on cataclysm: this hit a sweet spot in between. Great work.
GuardianBoD Aug 5 @ 2:59pm
Thanks, must have been blind. And I was sure i had been in the cave, apparently I have not. Realy appreciate your help.
Artyoan  [author] Aug 5 @ 12:11pm
@GuardianBoD, to advance the orc quest you need to kill a certain named Orc who is found in a cave in the center of that western forest area. Likely just need to do that part and it should work. If you've killed Jimbu and it didn't advance then it bugged out somehow. But most likely you just need him yet.
GuardianBoD Aug 5 @ 11:58am
Hi, I did not find it in the comments before.
First of all, great mod, I really like the story thus far. Speaking of far, I did not get very far :) The first quest from the lord, made me go to the tavern and accept a quest there, so I went west, to fight the orcs, I did clear that whole map, did the quest for the dwarf and the vengeful woman. But ... I still cannot finish the orc quest. There seem to be some missing.
In the abondened fortress was nothing, so maybe those Orcs did not spawn.

I did also travell through the sewers, there was no oger

Any ideas what I could do
Artyoan  [author] Aug 2 @ 10:01am
@doror75, thanks. I did make more. Morrows Deep came after, and then another follow up in The Red Crow. Those are new parties starting at level one but there are some recurring characters and plot threads from Forsaken Isle. I did also make Grave Rush which is a pure combat thing with some randomization to it, but not related to the story based campaigns.
doror75 Aug 2 @ 9:09am
Just finished this, great job. Really enjoyed this. Have you made any more for solasta?
Artyoan  [author] Aug 2 @ 6:43am
Thanks Anne, good to hear! It was fun to construct too.
anne_gwynnerobson Aug 2 @ 12:13am
Hey I really enjoyed playing this :) Thanks for putting it together!
Penitent Pilgrim Jul 31 @ 4:56pm
Thanks!
Artyoan  [author] Jul 31 @ 6:30am
@Penitent Pilgrim, Lysander is still on the isle, north of the central jungle area. You might have a billboard in town that can fast travel there too.
Penitent Pilgrim Jul 30 @ 10:51pm
I need to go back to Lysander to give him the linen burial wrappings but he isn't in his house. It's been months since I played and have forgotten his location. Where is he?
Artyoan  [author] Jul 18 @ 8:54pm
Thanks Adam. Good to hear ;)
Adam Jul 18 @ 8:31pm
Excellent campaign and great fun - looking forward to both sequels
Artyoan  [author] Jun 24 @ 10:23am
I checked for specifics and the Witch of the Swamp should conclude at the end of dialogue with the witch herself and a new quest should be started immediately.
Artyoan  [author] Jun 24 @ 6:35am
@Cinta, should get another quest. If your quest log is empty you might load a recent save before when you still had the previous quest and see if you get a follow up quest activation? Haven't heard of that bugging out before though.
Cinta Jun 24 @ 6:09am
Is "the witch of the swamp" quest the last quest? because i got no other quest
Artyoan  [author] May 25 @ 2:22pm
Yep, I would have said they were likely on a vendor and just buying them back should progress the quest. It just looks for presence of the item in the inventory.
thecenterpath May 25 @ 1:47pm
We found we sold the notes.
thecenterpath May 25 @ 1:37pm
Thanks, Artyoan. After we got the wraps, it says to "Collect the Research Notes". However, we previously cleared the entire Caer Eldon. We cannot find any new node to click that has the Research Notes book. What could we be missing? May we have accidentally sold it?
