I'd say I'll try and make it configurable, but I'm unlikely to have any time to work on it for the rest of the year at least.

No, but I don't think it will cause problems - from what I've seen of the patch so far, nothing this mod touches was changed in a way that might break anything.

If you have troubles with this mod but everything works fine without it, please comment again to tell me. Maybe add in any relevant bits of your log file if you can.
