This seems like a staple mod and it hasn't been updated in a few years. Shame.

Hey my friends and I encountered a bug in multiplayer where it locked out all our occupy buttons and now none of us can occupy settlements. Other people reporting it confirm having the same issue and it's with beastmen in multiplayer. Something to do with the way the Blood grounds are coded in.

Hhmm, this is probably an idea @Guvernoren won't love, but speaking strictly from a mod user's perspective with an eye on both logic and convenience, I could hardly imagine a more logical new home for these Beastmen fixes that are still relevant than your "Better Beastmen" overhaul....

My 10 cents, please don't get angry at me. Even @Mortarch of Blood would agree, I'm sure <3

When you need a fix for the fix things start to get a little convoluted. Seems this mod is abandoned.

Not sure if this falls under the purpose of this mod, but would it be possible to add a scrollbar to the unit caps tab in the dread menu? I noticed that if you add more than one beastmen unit mod, you can't even access the higher-tier unit upgrades because they're off of the screen in a lot of cases.

Noticed Beastmen can't diplomacy Chaos Dwarfs, but can all other Chaos factions. Thoughts on fixing that?

I noticed beastmen do not have acces to all of their regiments of renown, only three are available, centigors, jabberslythe and the ghorgon. others do not appear on the list at all even though they appear in the unit browser.

Ok resubbing seems to have fixed the CTD. I will check out more mods to do the "resub" method. Cheers!

I've already removed both those files from the pack file. And I tested it and it did not CTD, I would not have uploaded it if it crashed.

I suggest unsubscribing and resubscribing, that sometimes can resolve issues. If your CTD is not resolved, let me know and I will look into it.

Opened the pack. It's not properly updated.
Check the effect bonus values as the effects are null. They renamed some effect keys.

wh_dlc03_best_cygor_ammo
wh_dlc03_best_cygor_fire_rate

When you update make sure to remove errors.

Update will be put up in a moment, CTD is fixed. This was fairly easy, just had to take out the things CA fixed that this mod was trying to fix again.

No time for change notes, but I'll add those later tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah, I've got to go through it and take out some stuff. CA fixed a pretty big chunk of the issues, although there are still a few more. I'll update everyone when I have it working again.

Thank you for your excellent mods! Just thought I'd let you know that as of 3.0 this mod appears to be causing a CTD at launch.

I narrowed it down to this one in my mod list, I hope this is accurate and helpful!

This is a bug fix mod. I'm not opposed to tweaking items for an overhaul mod I'm working on, but could you maybe narrow it down to which items you're talking about specifically? Beastmen already have a few healing items, including one or two that grant regen, I think.

Long answer: If you give me more info, maybe next mod

@MAMAVAUDOU I have not experienced that issue, but I'll try to replicate it and see what happens. I have a Taurox testing campaign and none of my mod's should interact with that type of behavior, so let me see how it goes.

@Mathayus I can't help with that. Adjust your graphical settings or look for a graphics mod, there are a few out there. This is a mod for bugged and broken mechanics.

I have a fairly massive update planned for tomorrow (I just want to test a fix for one of Malagor's skills), here are the highlights and some other answers to questions you guys have had:

@Guvenoren That is... it figures that would be a problem. I generally loathe scripting issues, but I'm going to have to sack up and start digging into Beastmen AI behavior.

@ Autumnchain I am not on the Community Bug Fix project. I have posted this info for them twice and, in particular, the miscast fix. Hopefully they use it, I would be happy to help anyone on that squad if they shot me a message. They use a GitHub page to list all their fixed issues and I haven't taken the time to dig through it to see what is fixed and what isn't.

Hello, I play as taurox without any mod in a campaign, and when he is wounded, it is impossible to replace any general by him when its recovery time is finished (he does not appear in the generals selection pool). Would you be interested in solving this problem? Thank you.

If you're interested in modding, it's invaluable. Let's you skip through the gameplay portions that normally take 50-100 turns; let's you just give yourself an item you want to test, etc. I have a few more family things to do today and then I'm going to fire up the game tonight and get some work done getting caught up to speed so I can focus on all these suggestions. I seriously appreciate all the thoughts and feedback - even if I don't think I can actually fix the problem like with the AI, it helps motivate me to keep working on this project.

@Decado - I'm glad it's working now. The effect itself was missing a table entry and that's why everything based upon it was broken.

@Guvenoren - I'm actually going through and crunching numbers in a test file where I have console commands enabled. For example, when I tested all the red line skills, I built the lord a different army each skill to ensure the effect hit every unit it should.

As of right now I am up to date on skill fixes, but I have not tested every skill, so new issues could come up.

@RGP Thanks! Everything I've seen indicates it is working, including faction-wide effects...even ones from the Wood Elf counsel seats. It is a standard mod for me now and works all campaigns I've played or experimented with. Also with overhaul mods like Damned Nations (which has brutal miscast effects).
