After some testing I am able to find the Dread Saurian after attacking a settlement (Capturing, Razing, ...).
I notheless increased the chance of getting the Dread Saurian.
Question though, I've taken out almost all of the lizardmen on the map and still no dread saurian, is there a certain way of doing it or am I just super unlucky?
3 new monsters has been added :
- Colossal Squigs 20% chance from Green Skins settlement
- Khorne Bloodbeast 70% from Khorne settlement
- Slaughterbrute 70% from Khorne settlement
I realise that undertaking could be huge...but, perhaps if a submod was made with just one single modded creature example setup...I wouldn't mind taking it on personally and adding what I wanted with an example, as I've done that for a few mods now.
I will see about adding them in a future update because the single enity dino roster for Rakarth start to be big.
I will think about the rites to give new monsters to Rakarth.
But i need to update a lot of myt other long outdated mod right now, so i can't say anything about implementing this new recruitment way for now.
also, is the description for the Hell Pit Abomination correct? why do you get those from chaos dwarves? wouldnt skaven make more sense?
Added 8 new monsters
Reworked the description when a new beast is captured.
A campaign restart is needed for the update to take effect in an ongoing campaign using this mod.
So now that the DLC is out i am working on updating the mod (Toad Dragon incoming).
I am also planning to rework the description (finally).
And add some new monsters and rework the description after each captures.
I will try to also add monsters from the Shadow of Change DLC but because i do not own it i will not be able to 100% test it
Even before i left i was not much into modding anymore (lihe happens) but from now that i am back i will start reworking on all the mods i made to update/rework them to make them more correct.
@Quirkyturtle Of course, feel free to reuse as much as you want from my mod.
If you have smth playable, I'd like to give it a try soon, if I may <3 Thanks, your updated version sounds very good brother
You guys (you and the original author) can also solve it after you've uploaded - if you're the type of person who does things properly and with respect (as your comment below proves) and you label/credit accordingly, nobody will have ever have a problem with it. If you got something that's ready to play, please don't wait forever for a reply. It occasionally happens that a modder (however talented) disappears for an extended amount of time. Then real life happened, I guess.
3 or 4 major mods with ten thousands of subscribers were abandoned in the last 6 months, just for the fact that they used LOTS of custom/kitbashed animations and the modders (apparently) refuse to fix their large mods 5 times in a row with lots of effort, just so that CA can bork them again completely with (mostly unrelated) small update releases for the game.
@The Great Bear I have no idea
Added the Lamasu to the Monster Pen after attacking ChaosDwarf city
@uvm Because that is how it is implement through script. Ther percentage will always be at 0. The only way for you to get them is by capturing/raiding or batteling in the coresponding place.
Also is it possible to add a way to get the "settlement occupation" creatures the same way you get some vanilla creatures, like the black dragon where it specifically says you have to "attack" a certain type of settlement but not occupy it. In the grad scheme of things this would put very much a limitation on what you can acquire in the long term especially because some races might be completely wiped before you would discover them. For instance you would have to rush Torox to attack his hordestone settlement in order to have a chance at a Jaber, i mean sure, they are powerful creatures but wasting like 10-15 turns just to get there especially in the early stage seems like a chore and by the mid late game he could might as well be wiped.
The Dragon Ogre Shaggot has been removed from the monster pen because of bugs he was causing with other races.
As of now no replacement has ben made to him.
