Great to hear! I'm not entirely sure, but I do think that, if the person playing does not have the DLC, the units simply won't show up for recruitment. Just like for the factions the units are from originally.

That would indeed be fun! (and thematically appropriate)

I haven't played in quite a while; but I'll probably be back for Tides of Torment, assuming CA doesn't botch it and 6.4

Note: it would require having the Aislinn Tides of Torment DLC in order for this mod to work after that, but I believe it just excludes them automatically if you don't own the right DLC units yet

Dear mod author, will you consider adding the upcoming Oceanid, Sea Elemental and Merwyrm units to Aranessa's roster? I think it would be fitting and would be pretty cool to make her more unique.

Maybe something that adds heroes? Easiest way to check is disable others and enable 1 at a time to confirm

Aye they should! All Ogres are buffed in Aranessa's faction if they're recruitable (look for "The following units will receive bonuses from this skill" underneath the skill descriptions)

I've got a funny thing where the starting ogre hero is a Grey Seer model instead. Not sure what that's about, obviously a mod incompatibility, but I'm struggling to figure out what.

Good catch! Behind the scenes it checks the delta between the last version and this one, and determined that nothing actually changed in the files, which is true!

The main reason for hitting the "update this mod" button on my end, is that it makes the Yellow Warning Icon change to the Green Checkmark Icon in the Mod Manager. Basically it's just sending a message to CA servers that I checked that the mod was working with the Major patch number (6.1 in this case)

Updated for baseline 6.1 - no obvious changes were needed after some testing; mainly forcing the Mod Manager to change from the warning icon to the green checkmark icon instead

Is there any chance to replace the current crab mount with something else for at least some characters? I'm not a fan of the extreme clipping with the riders basically merged through the shell and into their mount.

I have two very minor requests, if possible.
First, could you give Aranessa access to the Powder-Guts and Eshin Maneater RoR's? I could've sworn she could get the former previously, but I might be misremembering.
Second, could you exchange "Cutlass" in her yellow line with "Boarding Axe" to give her a bonus against large instead of a miniscule one against infantry? That always bothered me, seeing how she's already tooled towards fighting large units. Greasus had the same thing with his scepter, but that's been changed with the latest update.

I humbly advise putting 6.0 in the title for your mods so when people are browsing their subscriptions they see it works and its less likely to get comments for updates.

Updated for 5.2

Apologies for the delay y'all; was quite swamped with other priorities! The CTD fix was pretty simple; CA had just updated a table that the mod uses so that same table had to be updated in tandem. Here's hoping CA keeps fixing the bugs they're introducing with 5.2 onwards

Due to a change in the code related to units, mods that add new units now instantly CTD unless of course updated to be compatible with the new patch. I cant be of any real help tho i have no idea which table is changed and where to find it.

Didn't this mod previously add the Powder-Guts RoR from the Ogre Kingdoms to Aranessa's faction? If so, I can't seem to find it. I might also be confusing something. If not, could you give her the ability to unlock them?

I already submitted a "bug" report on his mod's forum asking for clarification if that unit is supposed to be part of the mod or not. If it is they really should update the mod description

The port variant is coming from Nanu's Pirates of Sartosa Overhaul????? But that mod's description doesn't mention Ogre units at all?

Update: I found it, the Port variant of the Leadbelchers is a tier 2 vs the Black Powder Depot/Cannons Leadbelchers being tier 3. For some reason the tier 3 are the ones with less leadership, cost more and the tier 2 also have the "Unliving crew" trait

There seems to be a bug causing two variants of Leadbelchers being available for recruitment and the only difference I could find was that one of them had 5 more leadership than the other variant.

Yea I tracked it down. It was actually the recruit defeated legendary lords mod. It was specific to accepting refugees while playing as Lokhir. Nobody else. Just playing as Lokhir.

Just tested it out with a new Aranessa campaign (the new lord selection video for her is pretty nice) and got growth to maximum (tier 1 to 5), but didn't experience the same issues described - might be a conflict with another mod. Best way to test that is to isolate (only 1 mod and others disabled, etc.)

I've been having an end of turn CTD as well, and I'm wondering if it's this mod. Been going through my mod list and saw your post. I've had a lot of games with this mod where everything was fine, but I suspect Aranessa was destroyed before this became an issue. I recently made a faction potential mod to buff specific factions I wanted to see survive into the late game, and well. Suddenly end turn ctds.

May need to check this out and see if this is the cause.

It actually wasn't Aranessa's ship reaching lvl 3 growth but Sartossa's upgrade to lvl 3 (and likely the various buildings that make Ogre recruitment possible).

Hello, I'm not too sure about the Nanu's Pirates of Sartosa Overhaul compatibility... Once I was about to get 3 growth points on Aranessa (enabling the ogres), the game would crash upon turn end. Disabling this mod seems to have fixed the issue.
