@GVLT I was really disappointed in how finicky the diagonal walls were in 1.6. Only ship hulls, and placing any substructure next to it renders it blocky again? Really ruins the line of my ship when I put turret platforms outside :/

@1vincintm It doesn't seem that 1.6 diagonals have the same functionality as this mod

I have removed the 1.6 fix patch from the Japanese translation side, so you can remove the comments in v1.6 of LoadFolders.xml without any problems. Please update it. Thank you.

Oh yeah and gamers, make sure you use your connector tiles, it can fix most of your texture and alignment issues.

If you don't want to bother with creating a patch, you can apply a patch for 1.6 by subscribing to [1.6] [Sub-MOD] Diagonal Walls 2 add Japanese Translation . It includes a Japanese translation (size:23kb), but the patch will be applied without any problems in other languages and can be used without errors in 1.6.

In defs/chv_DiagonalWalls.xml, change <placingDraggableDimensions>1</placingDraggableDimensions>,
For Name="DiagonalWallBase", change line 37 to <designationCategory>Floors</designationCategory>.

For defName = "DiagonalSandbags", change line 361 to <designationCategory>Security</designationCategory>.

For defName = "DiagonalFence", change line 430 to <designationCategory>Structure</designationCategory>.

This is all you need to do to use it in 1.6 without errors.

I'm not exactly sure how I'm used to use this mod, for example there's no wall type that would fit in the selected tile, as all have the wrong texture

I think i just found a bug or incompatible with Replace Stuff and Minification
Something about null map for dia-wall when pawn/mech try to replace it with new material. If this let go on and it will cause patch finding problems, and rocketman started to spam error and the game run in 10 TPS.

Also, diagonal walls and embrasures from VFE - Ancients: Vault Technology would be great
