I don't know about overheating but dynamic braking increases the load on the wheel axles by turning the propulsion motors into generators, which helps the train slow down quickly at higher speeds without overheating the brakes

Epic train, really comforting and easy to start too, just the overheating thing, perhaps it can be fix? but i aint tech like that, i also want to know what the dynamic braking does, beautiful train

I suggest uploading a YouTube video on how to start it, because how are people supposed to get it moving without infinite electricity. Until you get the video upload a video if you can, I'm unsubscribing to this build

Sorry I can't post a youtube video, but if the engine revs and doesn't turn over maybe try turning off the isolation switch or messing around with the fuel pump/inf fuel. I made this a while ago and can't really remember how it works

reading description and comments (which comments could have been nicer about): I have followed all directions you've stated, yet the engine won't start, even sat and held the ignition for 30 seconds, could you perhaps post a video? Or perhaps maybe there's a switch I'm switching before starting the engine that is supposed to be flipped after?

Problem solved finally, from my perspective it seemed like it was where I spawned it.

I turn on all of the breakers in the cab, main/accessory/hep switches, engine run switch, gen field switch. In the engine room i turn cooling, isolate, and fuel switches and start the engine. Back in the cab throw the reverser into forward and throttle up and moves for me without any issues

@Enzocats Okay so I read over the instructions again and the train moves like a little bit and then stops completely. Can you like tell me everything you turned on or did or make a video on how to start it?
