I love this mod, I have played it pirated and now I have the possibility of playing it original, the only problem I have is that in this steam mod I have problems with the commands for the troops, "STR Not Found" appears and I cannot control my soldiers easily ;(

I don't recommend the Daimyo Edition if you intend to roleplay anything other than a soldier. The mod may make troops more balanced, but overall it removes a lot of content and unique troops, like the big sumo dudes, a few female troops, and a bunch of unique items - even the secret smith in the mountains is gone in Daimyo Edition. It makes a lot of roleplaying possibilities unavaiable. But if you intend to just play it purely for combat and conquest, go for it.

@Lawliet Yes, with most freelancer builds, you need to leave the lord's army to become a vassal. Officer/retainer is achievable in the freelancer system, just ask for your lord to recognize your achievements once you have some to boast about. Not sure what Hatamoto means, honestly, but there is a progression from soldier to samurai, and a pay bump, in this mod's freelancer system.

Question to...The void I guess. Playing in a lord's army. I'm a Hatamoto Archer. Is it possible to be promoted to officer/retainer/be made a vassal as an army member? Or does one have to do other things independently? I'm really vibing on working my way up in an existing hierarchy.

As others have said, Gekokujo and it's Daimyo Edition are plagued by fps issues just on the wolrd map alone. Travelling anywhere, for any reason, takes long because of this. I have about 9 hours in it, I liked everything else really but the map stuttering is 100% a deal breaker as that is where 95% of your time is spent.

shit AI shoots arrows on the current location of the enemy troops so if they are charging towards you, your army won't be able to hit anyone, goes for enemy armies too

This mod makes fast traveling on the world map unbearable with all the lag and stuttering, is there a way to fix it?

this was the mod i play most on Warband, Bannerlord just feel lacking without this mod. Everytime i play Bannerlord i started missing this mod.

Desperately need a version for Bannerlord. I am very convinced that many are waiting and hoping.

Great mod, and I know this version isn't being worked on anymore, but I just wanted to notify people of a potential issue they might run into. I put that I wanted to start my campaign in Kyushu and it put me WAY up north near Hokkaido. I was then tasked to head to the inn in Hakata to continue the first quest, meaning I had to walk the entire nation of Japan while being routinely attacked by strong bands of bandits. Just something to be wary of if you're starting a new game lol
