I already have Warband Upgrade Ultimate - swear by it, best warband mod out there, plenty of space to work with. I'll see what I can do.
Thank you. :3
thx my G, you made the game much less annoying for me :>
To do that yourself, go to BAGholder's Warband Upgrade Ultimate mod (linked in the description). He has a guide on how to make warband related mods, and also a link to the warband discord you can join and ask for help. All you need is to download RPFM and add the units you want to move to the unit_upgrade_group_ui_infos_tables table around so that they don't overlap.
You should get BAGholder's mod as well since it makes enough space on the UI for everything to fit, or wait a few months until the Slaanesh DLC comes out after which my mod will do the same.
Good luck!
No, I don't have any mods for warbands. I did get access to Kholek from using the "gather defeated lords" mod while doing my first festus campaign, so perhaps there's some strange kind of incompatibility between factions? I really can't think of any other mod that might be doing it.
I'll start a kholek campaign soon just to check, but my mod list is already pretty short, about 10 mods or something.
I'll let ya know if I find out what's causing it :)
thx 4 da mod king

I'm just curious cuz I would love to have both this mod and that mod in use at the same time. I haven't found a submod for that purpose, and have no idea how to go about making one (I'm not a person with experience making mods).
You can test it yourself by disabling all other mods and keeping just this one, then start a new game with kholek, open the warband menu while having a dragon ogre selected and see if the shaggoths light up (they'll stay locked and say the unit needs to be level 8, but this will confirm if the mod itself is working for you or not). You could even use the console command mod to level up the ogres to 8 and test if they are upgrading or not.
Lmk once you test it and I'll see if I can provide further assistance, if needed.
TYVM for the mod, firstly.
However, I have a small problem, it just doesn't seem to work for some units. Dragon Ogres seem unable to be upgraded. Still cant doomstack my kholek, it seems. :(
Today i see " RoR Update: after slaneesh dlc", does that mean you will add all missing mortal and deamon rors into woc? like the RoR soulgrinder only nurgle has? and sourgut pink horrors? would be awesome!
Any Chosen -> Aspiring Champions (lv9) -> Greater Daemons*
Chaos Spawns -> God-dedicated Spawns (lv 9) -> Soul Grinder/Warshrine*
I think it should be more like this:
Any Chosen -> Aspiring Champions (lv5) -> Greater Daemons*
Chaos Spawns -> God-dedicated Spawns (lv 5) -> Soul Grinder/Warshrine*
"BAGholder's Warband Upgrade Ultimate to use my warband upgrades for other chaos races, and enable upgrades for every faction in the game."
CA really dropped the ball on this one. Turns out, any uppercase letter in the pack file was causing a crash because the game can't read capital letters anymore.
Like it says in the description, Chaos Warriors of Khorne (lv5) -> Skullreapers (lv5) -> Wrathmongers
Or does it need to be base Khorne Warriors, and not Halberds/Dual Weapons?
