Can you give me more details? Which map did you try it out on? (Realm of Chaos or Immortal Empires, etc.)
Of course - happy to help! I had to find out about that (ages ago now) somehow too, lol
(mostly through "why is everyone saying update plz" during a major update?)
Heya - affirm!
It doesn't trigger Change Notes in the Workshop since the hash/delta is the same, but there appears to be a flag somewhere that causes the Yellow Warning symbol to show up in CA's launcher for Mods instead of a Green Checkmark
Happens every time during a major patch as it forces modders to check that their mod still works (but then everyone says "update plz" in the comments, of course) It's been a while since I've checked though, does this mod have a Yellow Warning symbol or a Green Checkmark in the Mod Manager? (I only see a Blue Folder for uploads)
@Tsu you can choose which order the mods are loaded; adding special characters just changes default placements of alphabetized files
Looks like no changes were needed, just making the warning icon go away
Playing a bit after CA's (much needed) course correction post "Shadows of Change" kerfluffle; here's hoping they stay on the right track
Rename the "cr_combi_expanded_map_1" folder you extracted to "cr_oldworld_map_1," go back to RPFM and right click the campign_maps folder>add>add folder, and select the "cr_oldworld_map_1" you made. Voila!
(Still needs to be moved higher up in your load order, like the description says)
Updated just a second ago (you will have to load this before the expanded map mod, but it works just fine)
Note: if you used this during 4.0 before I updated it just now, it wasn't working as intended! But it should now
Could you please consider making an extreme version of this mod, with the intensity/contrast & size of these borders increased to the maximum possible?
I tried every "Borders" mod on the workshop and i still struggle to see where the borders are, especially on the Desert or Arctic parts of the campaign map.
High Contrast Borders are now applied to the new versions of Realm of Chaos (wh3_main_chaos_map_3) and Immortal Empires (wh3_main_combi_map_2)
After a brief playtest to make sure nothing was broken from the 2.2 update, no actual changes were made; just making the Launcher warning symbol go away
That mod you linked doesn't affect the pre-2.0 RoC maps nor the prologue campaign, or the internal borders (when the borders on both sides are owned by the player, for example)
think this already existed
