Steam is not allowing me to update the description so i'll put this here:

If you have multiple character mods then I recommend installing Arena Character Select UI Expanded which removes the soft cap of the amount of arena characters you can have.

I don't have any plans currently to add anymore characters to this mod as I feel I've covered everything.

There's still unused combos like Pyro/Hydro and Aero/Geo but I feel like they would play the same as the current mages: go high ground and cast AoE damage spells. There were plans at one point to add a Pyro Rogue with sparks but the issue with that build was that it just made Lucian and Kniles irrelevant.

One of my comments below links to another arena character mod which is compatible with this one.

There may be a possibility to add more characters in the future depending on if I can think of anything creative.

I haven't seen Burning Touch as a skill for players (which is why it didn't come to mind) but that sounds good.

I think I'd replace Supernova with Burning Touch as it's a spell none of the other characters have. It also makes Supernova unique to Chtylchia.

I wouldn't give Sadha Dominate Mind as her damage output is crazy enough thanks to the summon, burning and Spontaneous Combustion.

I do appreciate the reply. I also appreciate the extra add on content link, I didn't know about this other mod.

You explaining why you made your characters the way they are has taught me new ways play as them, especially Mordus and Roost as they are my most difficult characters to use. That's actually pretty wild you can split source puddles, I didn't know that.

As far as Sadha you can either replace Supernova skill with Fire Whip . I think it would be nice to blind people when you burn their magic armor off. If you want to really be wild you can replace Crippling Blow with Dominant Mind but I would understand if you choose not to switch them.

For extra inventory items for some characters I will hold on that thought and take these new strategies to my next game session and see if any different ideas come to mind.

I've only played the unreleased version so I'm not sure how much has changed since the release.

As for me making new characters I'm not really sure what else to add that isn't already in the existing cast. I am open to suggestions though!

Mummie
My favourite pick against Slane. I generally kept to two hard CC's per character for their non source skills. For Mummie it's Deep Freeze and Global Cooling. I really do not like chain CC. As she has Living Armour, I did not want to give her more than 115 magic armour as Alexandar in vanilla had 183 with Living Armour which made him frustrating to take down.

Isbeil
One of my favourites to play. She used to have a Poison Slug summon which turned out to be impossible to balance. I don't plan to change her from Geo/Poly as I feel her kit synergies really well with itself. I also want to avoid giving her more ranged abilities than she already has since the vanilla cast is already dominated with ranged casters.

What kind of items would you like to see on the additional characters? When we designed them, we kept in mind the items other characters had and wanted to avoid duplicate items.

Roost
It's his Terrian Transmutation which allows for some crazy plays. This skill can split source puddles, allowing your team access to a lot more source than normal. His Soul Wolf is basically a global range Taunt. His physical armour is fine as he has Heart of Steel.

Advocate
Designed to be a nuisance to mages with all of his silencing skills. I kept his armour values in line with the other melee characters (in the rebalance).

Sadha
What would you replace these skills with? I would like to avoid giving ranged abilities.

Mordus
I didn't want to give him The Pawn as I didn't want just another Lohar. I also didn't want to give him Gag Order or Terrifying Cruelty as Kniles has them. Kniles is a pretty weak character so I didn't want to give players more reasons to not play him. It's the reason none of the new characters have Shackles of Pain. Venom Aura can reach juicy levels of damage with backstabs. Especially with all the Sadist procs on top of that. The idea is to choose when you want to engage. Do you want to stay out of the fight a few turns gathering source and buffing or engage right away but not have your full damage potential? It's a risk/reward thing.

Kerban
He used to have Bouncing Shield but then the dominate way to play him was to jump to high ground and cast. He was very one dimensional. With the rebalance mod, Gladiator is fixed and will trigger on EVERY melee attack.

She's not a summoner in the traditional sense. The only "summons" she gets is from her talent. I wouldn't give her Hungry Flower as that's Alexandar's signature ability. I also wanted to avoid creating another ranged mage as the vanilla cast is dominated with them already. She is able to sustain herself in melee with Bone Cage.

Chtylchia
Ahh my first ever character. Did you know at one point she had a shield? It was mad. I'm happy with her current physical armour as it's enough to survive a few hits before knockdown. She has insane damage potential so if her physical armour was too high for a knockdown, she'd feel oppressive. She used to Spread Your Wings but it made her feel like another version of Malady. It also made her Favourable Wind skill redundant.

I'll response to your feedback in multiple comments because of the character limit:

Shadow Prince
I feel Executioner is amazing on this character as he can basically destroy totems from any distance with Throwing Knife for free. Along with his Chemical Warfare Grenade, he is an amazing counter for Arhu as it removes his ability to equip a shield. Corrupted Blade was avoided on this character as Kniles and Lohar already have it and I wanted to remove as much overlap as possible. It's also why I didn't give him Chameleon Cloak as I didn't want just another Lohar. Teleport skills was also avoided on all the new characters as they are insanely powerful.

- I think there are enough rock and polymorph skills on characters going around so maybe changing one of those Combat abilities and skills to water or summoning would be a nice change. If not then giving her some ranged skills would be cool like Throw Dust would fit her.

Mummie:
- Another way to knock down enemies whether it be freezing them or physical attack
- More Magic armor. (But not needed if you think it is fair)
- Additional inventory item

Sadha:
- Replace Supernova and with another skill whether it be fire or summoning. Replacing one of the Warfare skills for a fire or summoning skill would be cool too.

The Advocate:
- More Magic armor plz :steamsad: (physical armor too but i understand if not). Somewhere over 180.

Roost Anlon:
Boy oh boy he is the least favorite character in the bunch.
- More damage type skills and mobility. He is VERY hard to work with. He only has his wolf that makes him great in my eyes but maybe I am just smooth brain.

Chtylchia:
- More physical armor
- I dunno if its just me but I do not see Spread Your Wings skill in her skills set or inventory.
- Additional inventory item

Kerban:
- One ranged attack skill would be cool :steamhappy:

Mordus:
- The Pawn talent would be awesome but I understand if that is too much since he has Sadist talent.
- Raaarely use Venomous Aura. Can be changed to another ability since he already has an ability to do buff venom damage with weapons.
- Terrifying Cruelty or Gag Order would be PERFECT with him since he damages Magic armor. Replace whatever you need to get one of them added.:mindnight_smile:
- Another inventory item like a poison grenade or another scroll to match play style.
- Mordus or The Shadow Prince should have a Chameleon Cloak

Tovah:
- More Summoning abilities like Summon Artillery Plant skill. I Think it would be perfect for her.
- A different Necromancer ability than Decaying Touch like Infect or Poison Dart or any other ranged attack so she can attack at a distance and not risk getting hit by melee warriors.
- Additional Inventory Item (you know what ill just say that for everyone.)

Awesome mod. My friend and I have been playing with it for a good amount of time and hope you come out with more arena characters. Love the mod! We've been playing with the mod and noticed some characters that we rarely choose could use some love and use some changes so that way we would favor them more often. I have written them below:

The Shadow Prince:
- Needs Mobility like The Pawn talent instead of Executioner or a mobile skill.
- More aggressive skills since he has high aerotheurge like teleport, nether swap, or other skill to get close. More scoundrel abilities like Corrupt Blade or Terrifying Cruelty to show he is a scary prince.
- Another inventory item would be cool too. Something more to go along with his scoundrelness.
- Mordus or The Shadow Prince should have a Chameleon Cloak

Haven't tested the characters yet but just finished looking through them and they look great. I've been working on a mod pack as well with a friend we are upto 9 characters with 2 more almost done will put us at a 39 character roster.
