Actually, Mannfred is just Vlad balded.

a) Look at promo material for Warhammer 1, notice how Mannfred has a completely different face.
b) Using this mod, quickly switch between the two variants. Notice that Vlad's damaged face is exactly the same as the undamaged face, just, well, damaged.

So what happened is that sometime during Warhammer's development they switched Mannfred's face for whatever reason. Budget constraints? Who knows.

Hello, your Vlad is the best. For some reason when I fight or when I play with Isabella her appearance on the battlefield isn't the ordinary one, she is modded too. She is kinda broken, some colours are messed up. But I have no mods that changes her looks. Perhaps it is due to this mod?

I'm also just wondering, is there a way in the script so that it defaults to his normal face, and then as the player we can select this face, rather than this being his default?

There should be two vlads in custom battle, one's the regular vlad one's the restored vlad.
The only thing I intentionally didn't touch is Vlad's campaign selection icon because of reasons.

It doesn't work how? If Vlad doesn't get the new appearance you are using a mod that overwritess mine. If the button doesn't show up, you are most likely using a mod that's causing a script break

These hotfixes were really minor and didn't really touch mods all that much.

I dislike the new Vlad nosed appearance, and AI keep using this.

There should be no issue between the two mods. If there is, submit a proper bug report with all relevant information in the bug reports forum. I recently updated Vlad Restored to essentially use the variant selector instead of its own system when both mods are present, so I do know they work together rather well.

Thanks for the mod but I wish you to fix the mod for bug caused with your own mod 'Variant selector'. I checked bug report page of Variant selector. Someone told about it was making trouble with Vlad restored and I finally could fix 'only blank box is opened without icon' bug with turning off the Vlad restored mod. I really like the restored Vlad so I wish it should be fixed later. Vlad restored mod itself works well but many people would love to use both mod without trouble.

Hello marthenil! long ago, in the first total war warhammer, you made a mod to give mannfred a bit more armor, and i really liked his look. could that be ported to Warhammer III ? thanks for your mods , the variant selector is great and vlad looks much better with a nose ^^

i always hoped for a reskin to make vlad looks like malus transformed in t'zarkan. Maybe just the head or even with malus armor, looks very fit vor a vampire lord, obviusly with red eyes instead of purple

It's not so simple I'm afraid. But fear not, a mod is in the works to enable this function for other things as well (modularly)

@Marthenil Hey man I'm trying to update my Mannfred mod. It uses your arm-guard mod from TWW1. Do you have any plans to import that to TWW3? Model editing is a bit beyond my skill.

@ Marthenil So this is crazy that this button is implimented with this mod, to seemingly change the characters appearance...yet i have not seen other modders use this for other things, like to change weapon appearance. So for example, Karl franz before getting Ghal Maraz, using his rune fang visually (even keeping his animations is fine) and then swapping to Ghal Maraz after...id love a mod that does this type of thing.
