Hey Übermorgen, I have downloaded your cult of sotek mod for the lizardman. I was playing with those special units and tried to let them fight with their basic skins counterparts, wherre the cult of sotek always lost. They also have like 6000 less health than the base units. Am I playing them wrong or is the mod outdated or bugged?

Still, I appreciate your work. Danke für die Mod anyway ;)

I did reload an older save file, where they still show, as well with the mod, so that seems fine. I fast forward to another safe, a couple of turns later, and they are gone. Could it be, that the new Sotek Tier 5 buildings let them disappear? In T4 they show. Hmm... The skink braves are still there, but they are in a different building. It seems to be linked to the sotek temple building.
Turn 67 is fine. Turn 70 as well. Turn 75 not any more, and all my Sotek Buildings are T5, maybe that is the case here?

I use quite some mods yes. The strange thing is, they did vanish in the recruitment tab in the middle of the campaign. I am not sure however, if it is because of the mod i use here:

That is the console command mod i enabled in the mid of the campaign, but i am not sure, if it was exactly at that moment, that everything broke. Hmm... I have however 2 units of soteks chosen recruited, so the unit is still in my game, i just dont see them any more in the recruitment cader.

@alexusher_92: Does it show the units in the building browser? Are you using any other mods I made? Maybe I made a mistake recently and have duplicate keys in a table.

i verified all game files and still they dont show up in recruitment tab. Funny is, i was once able to recruit them. Now they are missing. Sking braves however are still there, and red crested skinks with shields as well, but chosen, soteks cultists, all those from the sotek building are missing somehow.

are there any special needs for the units to be recruited? I got the Sotek Building up to 5, but i somehow can not recruit the skink temple guard of sotek

hello i think there is a issue with the 3 ROR , there are available for all factions (not only lm but empire, vamps and others too) at the begin of the campaign

update:
- Blessed Sotek's Chosen can now be obtained via a mission (just like other blessed units)
- set recruitment cost to 0 for Blessed Sotek's Chosen

this unit has been in the mod right from the start, in the early days of WH2, but could never be recruited in campaign until now.

I'd love to create different Kroxigor units but the problem there are the animations, the game itself does not have any with proper shield usage for Kroxigor and sadly I can't create those myself.

Love this mod, gives the lizards the same "Army of little dudes" option that the Greenskins have with Skarsnik and Grom's goblins

Also, this might go beyond the scope of a Skink-centric mod, but since they go hand in hand, any thoughts on adding some "Defensive" Kroxigors? Say, "Kroxigor (Shields)" for the early game, just swapping out the great weapon for an oversized Bastiladon-hide shield and a "Primitive" bone/hide version of the sacred fist weapon, and "Kroxigor Bulwark" (or just Sacred Kroxigor (shields)) for the late game, with a big stone "Plaque" shield and gold fist. Trade damage for durability.

Based on the same idea that much like Skink Temple Guards, Tehenhauin got creative with the Kroxigor too, in the absence of proper Saurus.

(maybe a Red Scaled Sotek RoR called "The Wall of Quetza" or some such?)

There is an animation issue with the skink temple guard of sotek, when a unit is in melee combat the skinks cheering will sometimes have their weapons float out of their hands during the animation. otherwise i really like the units in the mod keep up the good work!

Many thanks for your help, problem was coming from the submod adapting your mod for Radious. In the land_unit table there was lacking the "_rdc" on every unit "attribute group".
I assume it is breaking all your Red Host units abilities while that submod is active.
It's fixed for me but I'll warn Last of the Roman about this.

Thanks again for the hints and for all your work (i use a lot of it - with a few tweaks - to enhance my lizardmen campaign).

@Makhno: Thanks for the bug report. I wasn't able to reproduce it though. Flying is an attribute assigned to an unit_attribute_group and then set in land_units.

Hey mate, awesome work. I got a problem with Wings of Sotek, they dont "fly" and don't have the "can fly" ability. I wonder if there's any conflict with another mod or if it's related to the mod itself. I can't find where the "can fly" is set in the DB tables so I wasnt able to fix it myself.
