Minor issue with the wings tattoo.

Alongside [NL] Facial Animation set and UNAGI facial mods, and the wing's tattoo from the front makes the entire colonists body black but when rotated the body corrects to the original color and the wings are visible.

@Kaschey there's no XML for the texture replacements; if you make a local copy of the mod you can just delete the textures you don't like.

If you mean "can you add the redesigns as new tattoos rather than replacements", no, that's not the goal of this mod. But you can also do that with a local copy of the mod. The XML for adding tattoos is really easy to figure out.

To each their own, personally the redesigns being so different is a big selling point of this, since IMO the vanilla tattoos are very ugly.

Is it possible to just add the new tattoos instead of replacing the old ones? Some of them are changed so much they could as well be new.

Can you change the colour of them normally? This is a retexture. It is only textures. It doesn't add any new mechanics.

It's a texture mod, it works in 1.5 without any changes. I'll update the tag, but it doesn't need it.

As I said they don't need north tattoos, so even if it was the correct one it wouldn't matter :)

I see what you mean, but this mod does contain a file called FaceTattooEclipse_north that doesn't match FaceTattooEclipse_east and FaceTattooEclipse_south

North tattoos don't really matter, so we didn't really make them.

Hi, thank you for this mod! I have a question - could you confirm the FaceTattooEclipse_north texture is the right one? It matches the old design instead of your new one

I wish there was a mod to have the heart and the stars tatoos be below the eyes instead of their forehead, they can rarely be seen since most hats hide them.

@uhhmm - tattoos have always only been a part of ideology. Also I didn't realise it was marked as requiring it on the page, but the mod itself should have. It's fixed now.

Going to presume it needs the DLC Ideology?
Tried to use it earlier via applying it with a character editor, didn't appear on the Colonists.
Unless if it's because of body model mods.
If it requires Ideology maybe consider marking it as thus?

For some reason, this mod was making my colonists heads disappear. Not sure what changed but the heads reappeared once I disabled it.

@Frigglish - there's clearly some sort of conflict going on, as vanilla tattoos don't have a South view as far as I'm aware, and I'm personally not getting any errors at all and I use tattoos all the time in my games. I'll speak to Casie and see what we can do because at this point it's just annoying me.

Other conflicts generate the same error, as I'm not using Recipe Icons and get the same issues, though for the Phoenix tattoo. Happy to troubleshoot if you have insight into what calls I'm searching for.

@MrXarous - that's because, as I did explain clearly below, Recipe Icons is forcing the game to look for a South View that is not needed, instead of looking for the default view as it should be doing.

Similar to superniqui10 but editing allowed tattoos while dev mode enabled at ideology creation caused log spam of the Alchemist tattoo breaking the GUI for that interface and then when I was able to get it closed eventually locked up the game and I had to force close.
