what a weird change, i updated it so it should be fixed, excuse me while i go check all my other mods as well
Kasiope Mar 25 @ 2:22pm
Doesn't work since 6.1. x10 and x5 version as well. apparently it has to do with uppercase letter, someone posted this : https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/discussions/18446744073709551615/591766810822459412/?appid=1142710 . If you can please fix it so we get all get the working version. Thx <3

i assume it changes something in the same table, at which point one will just overwrite the other. there isnt anything i can do to fix that
Ven Mar 24 @ 12:33pm
Doesnt seem to work properly with DeepWar_AI mod. In previous campaigns i was able to sell and buy settlements with thousands of gold, but now everything is numbered in the hundreds of gold, even for buying a settlement, but the AI wont sell you a city with a barracks for ANY amount of money.
Redfog  [author] Jan 26 @ 4:01am
yeah it should do
DeathNote Jan 24 @ 10:00pm
does this work with sfo?
pelimaanikko Oct 2, 2024 @ 2:42am
Thanks, I tried it but it becomes now too easy to get alliances etc.. just trade boosting would be great.
Redfog  [author] Sep 25, 2024 @ 7:19pm
shouldnt no
Insane Ruffles Sep 25, 2024 @ 6:37pm
Does this need to be updated?
Redfog  [author] Aug 3, 2024 @ 10:07am
yeah it should be, it doesnt change the table this does
Johnny Aug 3, 2024 @ 4:39am
is this compatible with loreful diplomacy?
Oniichan Jul 29, 2024 @ 12:51am
I love you.
Lord Sacredbob the Mighty™ Jul 8, 2024 @ 11:42pm
Brilliant mod. Makes the game so much less frustrating.
Redfog  [author] Jul 2, 2024 @ 1:40pm
are you running a conflicting mod?, ive tested this on this patch and it still works
PumpkinCz Jul 2, 2024 @ 12:15pm
Are you planning an update? mod doesen´t seem to work now.. I just paid 20k on a -5 non agression :D
Redfog  [author] May 11, 2024 @ 11:47am
its possible, though i doubt it since all the new leaders arent a new race, and the table is done by race. Have you tested using just this mod? there are other mods that can overwrite this one if they change the same table, i cant test it because i dont have the DLC
Warshak May 11, 2024 @ 10:52am
Hello, is it possible that this mod doesn´t work on the new factions? I´m curently playing as Wisseland and this mod doesn´t seem to change anything.
Redfog  [author] Feb 29, 2024 @ 7:48am
it still works, at least as far as i know i tested it yesterday for a few factions
PumpkinCz Feb 29, 2024 @ 1:29am
will this mod get updated? Kinda got used to not spending my whole savings on -4 trade agreement :D
Redfog  [author] Oct 12, 2023 @ 10:34am
i dont know, The table is by faction (empire, dark elf, vampire etc) so it depends if they are just using one of the factions already existing entry or if they made their own, though even if they did make their own AI facitons that are base game will have the changes, so the AI will still ask for less but the players offers will be base game i think (not 100% sure on this, i wrote this a long time ago so ive forgotten a lot of the testing i did to figure out what table entry did what)
Marenna Oct 12, 2023 @ 8:43am
If I use a faction addition mod like 'Cataph's Southern Realms (TEB)', will the effect of this mod disappear?
AlphaAmpersandOmega Oct 10, 2023 @ 12:32pm
@Redfog sorry, I misunderstood a previous comment, I can confirm I've tried it with a large mod list and it doesn't seem to be broken, though I never had a chance to get a lot of money since my deals had small margins. Like 0.3 favorability for 300 gold, which is probably working as intended
Redfog  [author] Oct 9, 2023 @ 4:40pm
is it broken? it should be working fine, they didnt add any new factions this update
AlphaAmpersandOmega Oct 9, 2023 @ 12:55pm
I really hope it's possible to upgrade this to work again, can hardly play without it!
Ciaphas Cain Aug 17, 2023 @ 10:15am
Is it not possible to incorporate part of mods that change the max number of trading partners?

Not sure why CA introduced this tbh...it doesn't make sense.
Ciaphas Cain Jul 12, 2023 @ 7:10am
aw no way....I was hoping to use this but then noticed we cant have any mods that makes changes like max number of trading partners.....FACK!
Henrique Lique Jun 21, 2023 @ 4:55pm
any chance for an update to remove the warning?
Rewasder Apr 16, 2023 @ 12:58pm
Noice!
Redfog  [author] Apr 16, 2023 @ 11:15am
good point, i forgot chorfss were added, it wont effect them, Ive updated it so it effects everyone again
Rewasder Apr 16, 2023 @ 7:10am
Even for the new faction of the chorfs? All the other diplo related mods have needed to include them for things to work with them
Redfog  [author] Apr 15, 2023 @ 7:39pm
as it states in the description it shouldnt ever need updating, it effects a few columns in one table that are unlikely to ever be changed by CA
Obelus Apr 15, 2023 @ 4:23pm
Any plans on an update?
Chαsε Jan 31, 2023 @ 8:10pm
Before when you see a -1 to -10 that is the equivalent of a negative infinity, now with this mod you can bribe those -2 factions instead of waiting another 10 turns for them to reach -0.5.
Redfog  [author] Jan 3, 2023 @ 5:08am
I cant, the way AI value settlements is arcane and i cant find where the variables that effect it are stored in the database if they are actually in their
Rio Jan 2, 2023 @ 5:32pm
Great mod, thx. But could u make it so, if i wanna buy a settlement from ai it costs a reasonable amount ?
Dallar Nov 19, 2022 @ 5:04pm
Works great, and makes bribing option actually useful. Thank you.
Redfog  [author] Oct 29, 2022 @ 10:09am
whats not working? as stated in the description its very unlikely any patch breaks this so it shouldnt need updating
Pawmee Oct 29, 2022 @ 9:48am
update pls :)
Redfog  [author] Sep 16, 2022 @ 10:48am
yeah i know, we both change all the rows in the same table
Frostbeule Sep 16, 2022 @ 1:26am
Hello. It seems your mod conflicts with this one: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2790584452

Just wanted to make sure you have a intel. Its kinda sad thats not possible to use both together but i rather prefer yours other the other.
MadMarbleHead Sep 15, 2022 @ 2:34pm
Ok, thanks for the quick response!
Redfog  [author] Sep 15, 2022 @ 12:49pm
probably not, if i did do that people would ask for me to decouple it, i also don't know how to do it currently, ive never looked into how the difficulty effects are applied and pretty much the only reason i made variations other then this one was i knew how and it was very easy
MadMarbleHead Sep 15, 2022 @ 12:01pm
Would you consider combining the versions and having the value change based on the campaign difficulty?
FP Moose Sep 9, 2022 @ 9:08am
thanks man i remember the old mod too looked for hours couldn't remember or find it. trying to bribe factions was costing hundreds of thousands. and that mod made the tedious waste all your money to get a trade deal only to have it revoked within couple of turns. preferable, specially with mortal empires and all them extra cool factions added. you have reincarnated a golden mod mate
Redfog  [author] Sep 8, 2022 @ 5:41am
yeah it still works, i highly doubt any patch will break this.
TSEI (Empty) Sep 7, 2022 @ 5:27pm
Is this still working as of the 2.1 update?
Mad_Marius Sep 5, 2022 @ 6:04am
And, as you're aware there isn't any kind of column header for balance of power in any of the deal tables that affect everything else in those calculations... Heck only one or two of them reference region trading at all...
Mad_Marius Sep 5, 2022 @ 6:01am
Redfog

I looked all over the database to try to figure out where that calculation is made and can't find it anywhere. Its really weird how its being used too, because the balance of power modifier might be wildly different for two different regions being 'bought' from the same faction. I think there must be a script or something RPFM can't see? I also think its poorly labeled in that UI for what the calculation actually is or means. (they valued the last piece of my starting province very high, and then didnt throw on that cost hit to another random settlement that wasn't strategically important to me)

Maybe when the assembly kit comes out that can be modded. Maybe I just couldn't find it and someone else will. Until then, I just installed the console commands mod and paid myself for the value of the settlement I needed to keep my early campaign going...
Mad_Marius Sep 5, 2022 @ 6:01am
Ginger, hover over the trade value and see if there is anything in there for balance of power affecting the region valuation.

If so, that's not something this mod is touching.
Redfog  [author] Sep 5, 2022 @ 5:29am
It should be save game compatible, its possible you need to end turn for it to update? Also possible try adding the money to the deal and see if it displays a different value to the preview. that might also force it to update
