Great mod! And it seems to be working properly except I am getting this error occasionally:

Although the workers have been removed, the jobs still show up on the unemployment rate. Please fix it. Thanks.

I tried the new update, I keep getting an error when I try to build any dorm:

The mod is not working properly anymore for me. I have the same issue as @albambinaz but new dorms I build never work, they always stay empty. Only dorms I built several months ago are still functioning.

I've a problem. Every time build a new barrack or dorm, I need to exit from a game. Disable a mod and load again the game; save and exit from the game. Enable a mod and reload again the game, the mod working

Doing a bit of experimentation on my own I believe the code that prevents workers is also preventing people from moving in. By disabling the mod, loading my save, waiting till it has workers, saving, reenabling, and reloading I noticed the mod worked as normal, but it would not work on new buildings, or if I reset a building that's working

@PhazezGova - I was having an issue with the previous version of this mod whereby every 10 seconds, my whole city would experience a brief stutter - all traffic would stop for about a 1/4 - 1/2 second and it would do this consistently every 10 seconds. With this new version of the mod, I no longer have that issue. I believe that is what is being referred to as fixing the FPS issue.

I had the mod for a long time and would like to use it again. However, I already have a lot of mods active. Can anyone tell me roughly how the mod affects the FPS? I suspect it's rather small, but I wanted to ask again.

I should add to my previous comment that he tried using reset through Move It and that did not work for him. Only the save/restart worked.

Just thought I'd drop a note here after watching City Planner Plays latest video. He built a campus and by saving the game and reloading it after placing the dorm buildings they began to attract students where they wouldn't with the original placement. Might be something to try if you're struggling to get this working.

@animecentral You have non-updated mods. Make sure that you are using the latest version of mods. Filter mods for the "out of date" option and do a Fix All Issues in the Utilities menu of SKYVE.

Have done so. I am using Skyve to manage everything and I have no warnings. With this mod, I get the error. Without, it builds just fine. I don't have prison helicopter or simcare. Perhaps it is dependant on one of them?

I don't have simcare subscribed. I loaded the game to get the error, and will now try again without the mod, just incase it is something else.

@animecentral CimCare mod was causing CitizenUnit simulation error. Make sure that you use the latest version of the mods, so unsubscribe-resubscribe and follow the Hotels & Retreats compatible modlist.

I am getting an error with the latest build, tried to build a farm barracks and it spat out "Can't create" something something ".CitizenUnit" I forgot to write it down.. After that, it took the money but didn't make the building. I'll try again when I get back into the game probably tomorrow.

I think it happens with me, yesterday I placed some dorms in campus 2 and my campus 1 got a big hit of studenst, from 3000 to 2000. They did not transfer to new campus 2 just disappeared. I will see later if reloading a save will fix it

Also forestry barracks never get any people, oil ones sometimes get occupied and in Ore I have like 1/480 people, but for Forest ones is always 0 for me, tested on 2 industry zones

@Darkangel - Can I see an output log, or a save, I did not encounter the issue.
All I am doing is fetching students studying in a certain campus and transfer them under certain chance to live in the dorms. Once they finish school I make them move out. While they are in the dorm they can marry, or have kids.

I have the same issue with losing a lot of students as soon as I place down some dorms, but I've noticed that I can reverse this by just saving and reloading the save. As soon as I reload the number of students goes up again and it stays this way until I build new dorms and save/reload again.

Yes I can confirm as weirorus said there is a huge bug in this mod I am also losing thousands of students because of this mod and putting in more dorms. Also no one is staying in the work barracks of any industry. UNSUBBING. The reason education levels maybe increasing is cause this does same thing as hadron collider in that it increases education levels and clears out your schools! Well done!
