it breaks the use of custom textures on men-at-arms shield which vary from faction to faction, this mod makes them only work on couronne & caracassonne, leaving other factions using the default shield textures, everything else about the mod works fine

This mod breaks the shield heraldry of men-at-arms from Uniforms and Heraldry of Bretonnia III on factions other than Carcassonne & Couronne, and i'm not sure why this incompatibility exists, since this mod only edits unit cards? Any clue as to why these two mods conflict?

Yeah, Ironclaw's night gobbos and nasty skulkers seem to be missin their cards, it just appears as a swordsmen, when it bugs out like that! or a question mark

@Daemon Trooper. No this mod only changes the colours of the unit cards in the base game to match their vanilla colour schemes. I leave more lore accurate and modded units to any and all that wish to make said mod. But the point of this mod is to simply add what we thought was a basic feature into all three titles.

Unlike "Special Unit Cards" (which is discontinued) which not only change units colours but also integrates where it fits faction emblems (sigils on shields, heraldry on capes, and else), you don't. Do you plan on doing so for more immersive cards or will you stay on colouring ?

when the Mod is for whatever Reason not in the Workshop but the Data Folder, there is no other Possibility then to update manual. MM Author got an quit long and good Explanation in the Faq, but as He simply put:
Content Mods Vs Data Mods
Mods you've subscribed to reside in the workshop (content) folder, but can also be loaded from the data folder. Don't touch unless you know what you're doing!.
Just out of Curiosity, i presume the Mod is now in the WS Folder not the Data?.

@The Mannis, I believe Hooveric changes some of the faction colour schemes, so they may be off. You'd just need to go into his mod and delete the faction_tables db file to revert it to vanilla. If you wanted to use both.

@stormleo77, your the first to report this issue. I use the wh3 default launcher myself, so it may be mod manager related

had a weird issue where mod wont update... tried the old unsub resub method which worked for everything else but didnt work for this mod.

had to go to data folder for wh3, find the mod and delete it and its thumbnail completely before subbing again.

issue is fixed but just decide to point it out.

Hi all, if anyone is interested in the latest mod I have been co-working on you can find it HERE . This mod adds revamped 2D unit portholes to TWW3 - gone are the low res 2D unit portholes - all units for all 24 race in TWW3 now have new high quality ones instead :steamthumbsup:

I'm having a slight issue where although the Tamurkhan Chaos Dwarf units show up as the correct colours in skirmish mode, in the actual campaign and campaign battles they have black armour (like Astragoth's troops), both on their unit card and in-battle.

I am using the Community Bug Fix mod, which might be causing issues. I haven't had a chance to test that yet, but until then I just wanted to raise the issue.

@Spitch. To be honest, Tamurkhans warlord units made me realise that: yes, it does appear to be possible. There does not appear to be any under the hood differences with how Tamurkhans extended roster works atleast with regards to how easy it is to mod them in. I have not however tested allied troops or slanesh seduction. Because here in lies one of the two main problems [the first being the sheer amount of work it would take to add unit cards for all units for each and every faction] it is extremely hard to test whether or not its working or not. Skirmish mode allows me to test - extremely quickly and conveniently - but it does not support 'allied' units unfortunately.

That said! Its not off the table, once I've finished my latest mod. I may perhaps take a more in depth look at allied units.

Thanks for the speedy update and all the hard work!

Just for interest's sake, Tamurkhan's warlord units have me wondering: would it hypothetically be possible to add colours for other faction units recruited by another faction? For example, Slaanesh' Seduction or gaining troops from allies?

It would be an insane amount of work, so I hope this doesn't come across like a request or suggestion, I'm just curious if it could be done on a technical level? Or are units like Tamurkhan's dreadquake's set up differently behind-the-scenes so that they are part of the extended faction roster?

@soulmindproductions - I wasnt aware there was a compatability patch by Hooveric. That said I would assume it works. If it doesnt you would be best contacting Hooveric.
