only fruit should produce seeds", how does one think a lettuce reproduces? The lettuce flowers and drops seeds to self reproduce.

Why does it only give 1 seed per item? That makes no sense for sustainability. It's basically impossible to sustain.

i have tested this on broccoli so far and it worked but sadly only got 1 seed ><
im playing on all food items insanely rare as extra challenge, was kinda disappointed but at the same thinking w/e could add extra challenge + give a good reason not to just waste food trying to turn them into seeds.

i am wondering though is it meant to be only 1seed no matter what? like fresh compared to normal/stale/rotton? & is it all crops foods give only 1?

This Ain't working, I have a potato, and a knife, but in the recipe, it says i don't have a potato in my inventory. It is not in a bag or anything, what do i do?

Mod isn't working for me. I will check to see if another mod is creating incompats, but I can't extract the seeds even though the recipe shows the items are available. The 'Craft' button is still greyed out.

Not sure if anyone else has this issue.

This does work on MP, and it can be added live without an issue.

Has this been MP-tested? I'd like to add it to my server, because this is exactly what I was looking for.

I mean not without making a separate recipe system that has a chance to fail. And if i was on your server already set up producing i surely wouldn't want any of my sales turning into seeds so people can undercut my market with my own produce. probably just an incompatible idea to add an extra seed generation method to a server seeking to limit seeds.

Is there an option to where I can set the food to have a small chance to produce seeds? I am hosting a 10 Years Later server for friends and want to make it difficult to obtain fresh food sources (we have the Crops Never Rot, so trying to avoid players getting an abundance of seeds!)

@mikey Yeah they confusingly referenced potatoes as well which are a whole other kettle of fish when it comes to seeding, but either way thats the quote that made me think "yeh ill make that a thing" so there it is,

unless they meant seeds going bad cause thats true

that is how plants work though....all vegetables have seeds that grow alongside the vegetable....that tizona didnt know what she was talking about lol

@kidokit Yeap, because in general the rotten food is just the regular food item anyway just has lower nutrition depending on its age. Not even sure if I can check age and give different results in the recipe if I'm being honest but if I ever find that out id probably make rotten/fresh give different amounts of seeds.
