I deleted the mod, but I can't get rid of the hideous TK loading screen. I tried to use other mods that replace the loading screens, but it still stays the same. Any ideas?

so after messing around with files, I need to remove light parchment and my main menu only displays Warriors of Chaos dlc. I tried to remove everything, and only keep provinces panorama pics and city recruitment screens.

Also +1 to removing the aspect of the mod that "adds menu backgrounds"
Since CA has now added all of the old backgrounds with music in Vanilla

This mod has a CTD associated with packfiles that are titled with Uppercase letters.
CA announced that changing all uppercase packfile titles to lowercase seems to fix it.

I don't know why you decided to mess with the main menu background but now I have access to significantly less backgrounds, the menu lags like hell when I try to swap between them, when I try to move between the main menu and campaign selection too, and the selector UI is ugly. I very much like the mod in the game but please remove whatever you did to the main menu. It was much better before.

@Ulrik H.D Nice to hear it mate, I do think CA still deserves a lot of scrutiny, but the game received decent updates recently

@Gleen Cross If I ever find time between my other projects and clear some space on my SSD, I might return to modding now that CA seems to care about the game again

A shame this mod is abandoned. Besides the main menu backgrounds who got messy ever since CA finally included their own take, this mod was working fine until the latest DLC/patch (as usual, classic CA breaking mods), but some factions backgrounds are out of position, like these Lizardmen examples: https://i.imgur.com/JPs7t7y.png and https://i.imgur.com/gndxj81.png

If the author really abandoned the project, hope someone else can take over, one of the best (if not the best) UI mods in the workshop

@Pazuzu you need to download the mod "Mod configuration too" (MCT) it will add a button in the main menu on the right top side, where you can change settings for many mods, including removing the backgrounds and other stuff :)

bring back Plague Cauldron background for Nurgle please, they removed it in the new update

I created brand new high quality panoramas for all the races but I noticed that the game doesn't follow the culture table paths and it uses random panoramas despite me filling the table properly.

If you know a solution please let me know.

Anyone got a fix for some main menu background prohibiting the voicelines in the character selection menu.

doesnt work with Lords of Undeath unfortunately, i like both mods

correction: there are some visual issues on the main menu when the main menu replacers are disabled :/ but apart from that , seems to be working fine

So, good news - CA added bunch of main menu backgrounds.
Bad news, most doesnt come with a sound, so this mod is still needed for that
Good news, it sitll works, though the new menuscreens are obviously replaced

and since you added MCT support we can have both as well, - vanilla main menus, (with no usual music) and nice backgrounds

Crazy how this mod still works, lua scripts can be scary in a way. I'm getting more curious to learn this damn thing, just because.

You people can still use this mod, it will only conflict with the start menu backgrounds, but that's a minor nuisance. Remains one of the best UI mods in the workshop, hope the author did no abandoned this greedy a** game (if he abandon it, sadly, that would be comprehensible)
