Yeah despite seeing that people were reporting problems dismantling wrecks a while back? I didn't have problems until probably this month at some point. I know I didn't have a problem with it before. I found them again recently and they worked, so I took them on the road and when I got to my location and didn't play for a couple of days? It didn't work on anything except dismantling stuff inside houses like bathtubs and such otherwise you would say it needed a welding mask and I tried it with both favorite and no favorite status and it and it just said Nope. So it's gotta be a mod that somebody updated cause I don't add a lot of mods these days. Or because I went into a zone that had not been loaded yet. You know how some mods will only work in areas that haven't been explored yet? I guess finding out that a mod is broken works the same way too and I do plan on heading back to my base where it did work and I'll report back if I get back there and I can take apart cars.

recipies cant "see" or use the googles when they are favorited

In the process of setting up a new dedicated server and so far this mod works just fine. Wrecks and kitchen appliances tested OK.

Would be so nice if they gave a bit of scratch defense. Great mod!

not sure if it's possible in one mod; but maybe make a slot specifically for the welding mask/goggles, so other head cosmetics can take the default slot and the mask/goggles would be hidden? again not sure if it's possible in one mod, but there's an idea.

Yeah I've heard others mention car wrecks before... Not sure how they implemented the mask, but if it's hardcoded there's not much we can do unfortunately (I think), As for dismantling, it worked the last I checked but it could have changed

Doesn't seem to work for dismantling, at least with the set of mods I am using. Seems great for all the crafting metalwork though.

Seems like it's not working with car wrecks? Still asks for a welder mask. Everything else works great.

Which apparently safety goggles also aren't visible to other people when worn in a multiplayer server.

It works, it's just visually it doesn't appear on my character for other people. I can drop the item and they wear it. Functionally it works.

Could you change the sandbox setting to translatable?

No issues using these here, found some in a warehouse. Love not having to take off my helmet and some other items just to use a welding mask anymore. Great job!

Spawn rate is a bit less than the welding mask but should spawn in all the same containers

What's the spawn rate compared to the Welding mask?

@Jaxx its an base game issue. no favorit item can be used in recipies. hope they fix it

what did someone say was the issue with making the goggles/mask favorited just disabling all of its functionality? is that in basegame or is it a mod that messes that up?

It is regrettable that they have comments disabled (and how more and more Workshop mods seem to be doing that). BUT, the description links to a Discord channel. Perhaps someone should sign up for the mod author's channel to report the issue (preferably with a suggestion on how to fix it)?

Regrettably, comments disabled and the like on that mod.

Not sure how they've implemented it but it might be hardcoded to the mask. Might need the folks working on that mod to add compatibility for this one. Not sure.
