I checked lots of Medieval overhaul player screen shot,everypawn's weapon are render behind shield...
I would suggest adding an option in the animals tab where you can decide if the animal can be picked when using the mount button, for example I don't want pawns trying to mount that one animal without leg, walking would be faster.
Try pressing the verify file integrity button in the game library.

From the description, it sounds like the Mount button just tells the pawns to find a mount, and then the player can queue up other commands after that. When pawns find a mount to go to a job with Giddy-Up (Ride and Roll?), they look for the one that will get them to the destination the fastest, so they can pick a further-away mount if it is sufficiently faster. Do you account for a destination when the pawns are told to mount? Thanks!
