End a chunk of Farmstead battles at level 3
In the rest area, exit to desktop (For what it worth, I always waited out the automatic hasty retreats)
Reopen save
All Hasties are undone, no engis redo them, and on proceeding to combat all engies are at Level 3 but have no ripostes or associated buffs.
I don't think it's intended since the stats say he gets +20% prot per level sentry. Personally, engineer is op as he is and doesn't need it but just saying he doesn't get the protection values he was intended to have.
* Level 1: 1 HP for 1 round
* Level 2: 2 HP for 1 round
* Level 3: 3 HP for 1 round
* Level 4: 4 HP for 1 round
* Level 5: 4 HP for 2 rounds
- Lastly, he lacks a text when chosen to be sacrificed to the Heart of Darkness: "str_monster_user_selected_targets_kill_pill" does not show up on his localization.
- Artstyle: His head is a bit larger than his body, in addition to the fact that his color is too bright compared to other classes (and other modded classes). His arms, also show up being a bit longer, almost snakelike.
- Balance: His turrets, regarding level 1 and level 2 are a tad bit OP. His level 1 turret should at least be around 3-7 damage and not 30 damage right out of the gate. His level 2 could at the very least be at 8-14 and his level 3 can be around 15-24. In addition to offset his endless riposte, would it be a bit fairer to downgrade his health around the 20s with debuff and stun stats around 70%, to make him more vulnerable much like the actual class when playing the game.
very creative using the "mode" mechanic to upgrade sentries
To summarize, download this mod you fool, you won't find a better one I promise.
To the author, Fucking awesome! You got my immediate respect for all those little extra things you didn't have to do.
give me your hat
But i have bugs with it
too much dps would render him useless, so try to have a low-dps meter, crowd control is stellar with him, especially stuns. buffs are useful.
example:
kitsune miko, engy,abomination, man at arms.
miko is my go-to buffer-healer, with big stun synergy
engy, because we want to play engy
abomination will mostly stun but can transform to deal damage in a pinch
man at arms for stun, tank, riposte, buff, and guarding if miko can't hold the pace (unlikely but, you know, sometimes shamblers and things from the stars exist)
but as it turns out, it's a real class, with a real gameplay style, fitting a real place in a team.
the engy is a Burst damage Support (like a muscarine's Hollow) starts the fight slowly, deal some damage at the start, some support abilities with dispenser, but once the sentry is down, if he gets hit, he will destroy everything.
with this gimmick comes flaws, the higher lvl the sentry is, the less engy dodges, but the more he hits back.
engy can support-heal to keep death at bay, but he will be rendered useless dps-wise so if you want your engy to be useful as heal, he has to continuously dispense.
this is great. i love this. a real flavorful class to play. thank you
