@Zefix I'm not a fan of spriting UI's but I could consider adding a toggle for a compact mode that lists the stations as just icons (no names) in a grid instead of a list. You could also try sorting your crafting stations into multiple omnicrafters

Is there any possibility (or an already existing example) of a version of this for shops? i.e. vending machines and craftable merchants added by some mods- I like having those on my ship too but they usually take up a lot of space

@OllieOnMollie if the Omnicrafter doesn't recognize it as a crafting station, it's likely because the station's scripts wouldn't work if accessed via the Omnicrafter, sorry

On the off chance this mod is down for updates still, could there be one patching the "write your own books" mod? The omnicrafter doesn't recognize it as a station

the omnicrafter doesnt eat the stations you add to it, it just stores a copy

also just to ask a random question:
the reason why it's impossible to upgrade stations from the omnicrafter it's because it's hardcoded in Starbound or there are other major issues?

@SkullNoise try making a new omnicrafter then adding an upgradeable crafting station (ie inventors table) first, or an unugradeable one (ie fossil station) first. I will look into a fix for this issue

In the past i used this mod a lot to "clean up" my base from having tons of stations,but somehow now it's not detecting the crafting stations in my hand,either by having equip the station on the hotbar or by holding it on my hands....did this happen for someone else?

@Silver Sokolova You don't understand what I try to say. Storage Bridge adds Input/Output to the nearby chest (or any other container), allowing you to wire it to the Item Transference Device, then you could make a change in your mod, which could allow linking transfer device to your omnicrafter, so all resources from chest would be available to use straight away in crafting stations.

Any chance to make it work with FU's storage bridges? It could be a massive qol feature if instead of picking up from container all the time one by one resources we could be able just to click and craft.:steamthumbsup:

Any chance of like.. an addon or something to make the GUI for this bigger? It's a great mod, but the interface is very small when you have a lot of mod crafting stations loaded into it.

As it happens, it's even more useful for building projects. No more having to set up multiple platforms to hold the 15 crafting stations I lug around to make blocks and furniture..

Yep! You should upgrade your script to move all pak files instead of just those named 'contents.pak'. Some mods use multiple pak files.

So I had to physically copy the mod file to the server instead of using the normal SWEL script file utility to move the pak files from the workshop folders to the mods folders on the server. After putting the file names omnicrafter.pak into the mod folder on the server, everything is working. Basically the authors naming convention messes with the utility scripts out there. If the file were to be named contents.pak it would have worked without all the fuss.
