I know in ReBuild mod, there are a outer structure you can build around walls, but it has its own hitpoints.

would be great to see a thermal insulation frame that doesn't take space and allows other stuff to be built on the same tile. could be in a form of patch for this mod:

I don't like the idea of having insulation as a wall itself and your frames look cool.

another idea: a frame that adds HP to the wall, but doesn't have HP on its own (destroyed only when the wall is destroyed). could be built on both sides of the wall at the same time. once again, it could be cool both visually and could have a function.

Of note! if you do use Progression: Aesthetics and want to get rid of its changes (and that error), but keep using the rest of the mod, I deleted the "Panels and Frames" folder from the 1.6 folder of that mod with no issues. If the mod updates or you verify files, I believe it will revert, but as much as I like some of the things that mod organizes, it guts out a lot of good things from this mod.

It does seem to be something that happens with Progression: Aesthetics, which has a patch that removes "Defs/ResearchProjectDef[defName="PenelsFramesResearch"" among others. Commenting out part of the code did fix the error, but I'm not sure about what effect that has on either mod. It is also a mod that takes the content from this mod and puts it into props, but as far as I can tell, also removes a good chunk of it (like frames and stairs, which it hides).

@kongkim You might be thinking of Progression: Aesthetics? I've been getting the same errors as Mako with these in the modlist, but I think it's on their end to fix. The same kind of errors happen to another mod that it turns into props.

Someone made a mod that removed that and made them into props, but i do not know if it have been updated.

This requires research? I'm getting an error saying the game can't find the required research? Didn't VFE - Props and Decor remove the need to research props? Maybe this mod is calling upon research that no longer is in the code?

Yah you are right it needs the VE framework, i did some new things long ago and when 1.6 landed i just uploaded that, forgetting i added some things i was working on :S

Looks like it's missing a dependency on VFE. I got an error on startup and even with VFE added (sorted as RimSort preferred) I still got the error. Manually placing this mod after VFE fixed it.

Now that Vanilla Expanded Framework got updated.
I have updated and fixed some errors in this mod for v1.6

Hiya! Vanilla Expanded Framework updated not too long ago, and mods using it kind got broken because of changes they made. https://github.com/Vanilla-Expanded/VanillaExpandedFramework/wiki/16Changes I'm getting tons of errors because of it, but it ain't just your mod. Tons of others too

I will be updating the mod as some point as i do have some door frame in the work also.
Not sure i will add all of them you say but will take a look at some of them.

But it will take some time as im working on another project at the moment i need to finish first :)

I just wish there were more stairs, for example wide 1x3 or 1x5 or grand stairs, like 2x3 and 2x5. I don't know if that's possible to make though.

For those having issues with designator shapes, untick the keybind setting in the mod settings. That fixed all the issues I had with designator shapes not allowing mods to rotate.

Hey, not sure if most have figured it out yet, but I figured out how to stop the Designator Shapes mod messing with rotation in this one while not removing the mod or changing my load order. You just need to use Designator Shapes as the 'line' shape to be able to rotate normally.

I had noticed the same 'unable to rotate object' error myself, both with the floor decal's from this mod as well as a random item or two from other ones. I can use the default Q and E keybinds to rotate door frames, but to rotate the other objects I was able to use a secondary keybind. Some mod somewhere must be doing something with the default keys, but that work around works well enough for something that doesn't need to be used all the time. Regardless, thank you for the mod.

Looks like the Designator Shapes mod is making the floor panels not be able to rotate.
After removing the mod, I was able to rotate them.

Also had the same issue with Alpha Props' floor panels too.

Would a 3x1 staircase model be possible? Of all the staircase models, this is the best I've seen, but in my base, with hallways 3 squares wide, they don't look good :(
