The spells weren't working for me, turns out it's because the mod_id was changed when you uploaded it to the workshop.
I went into the init and actions files and replaced "RightSpell" with "AltFire" and that got everything working.

are these requirement spells in the usual tiers and will they be unlocked if i havent unlocked the other req spells?
