Interesting mystery..... I do agree with the location of the wreck that @Remi described, and the fact that she may have been topheavy. However, if you know the Poseidon, you'll know that it is infact possible to survive a capsizing. But ofc, since this boat is old timey ocean liner style, it probably wouldn't have been survivable. I have an idea for the wreck's appearance: severely damaged, broken in half, on starboard side, funnel collapsed. *i talk too much lol*

This was a very interesting disappearance to solve, although I feel like, given the circumstances, there is a valid conclusion that we can make. If it had been rolling in the waves, it likely capsized due to being topheavy, and since we have only explored less than 10% of the ocean, the wreck is likely in an uncharted region.

@bink2006 Both - If a ship broke down, she could use her sails. An example is RMS Aurania 1 of the Cunard Line. On her maiden voyage, her boilers exploded and her engine piston smashed upwards through the engine skylight. If she had no sails, she would be stranded but thankfully she limped under sail and tow into New York soon after. As ships evolved to twin screw, sails were usually deemed useless so were less and less common and the public built a trust for steamers by 1900

i got a question. why did early steam driven ocean liners like atlantic still use sail? when i was younger i thought it was a precaution. but later historic travels claimed the public did not quite trust the steam engine yet. i now personnally believe it is both but do you have a theory?

Fantastic ship, you once again did a great job. Do you think you could build one of Royal Mail Lines "Highland Class" ships? They are hideous from the exterior, but quite nice interior wise.

Both third class doors on the stern are not locked, and lead into a void.
