It look like this for me
I don't have many mods, active, just more families, marriage for everyone, free console, invictus for this mod
The problem I now realised has happened is that though it works, Maurya has completely disappeared lol.
BUT the interface for government remains the same size as without, so therefore the senate and election tabs aren't accessible and the 12 offices don't fit anymore. Also, there are just 3 starting families.
Loading this mod after Invictus leads to the game stalling at 100% in the loading screen when starting a new game. Deleting the 00_latin file or the cultures folder doesn't help.
the cost of the new update...
The idea of scorned families is completely out of mind in case of this mode. How should you handle scorned families when you cannot assign jobs? But scorned families do not make any sense at all in case of republics in general.
Until it is properly handled, you can modify:
“...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\XXXXXX\2834280746\common\defines\01_res_publica_def.txt”
Change: EXPECTED_JOB_PERCENTAGE = 0
As mentioned by the author, he made bug, and it is not possible to raise a consular army. To fix:
“\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\XXXXXX\2834280746\common\character_interactions\raise_legion_interactions.txt”
There are two interactions. In both of them in part:
“effect = { … " (lines 40 and 127)
change “hidden:scope:actor” to “scope:actor”
“hidden” cannot be used in the “effect” part.
After these changes, all families don't expect any job, and you are able to raise a consular army (if at war and with manpower).
Still an Amazing work and great idea. Well done to the author - a pity I cannot progress due to the above.
I have no idea what's causing this, I never had any issues with the game before, so I think this mod might be causing it. Is anyone else experiencing it? Any fix ??
I have no desire to restart my entire playthrough again.. I spent far too much time with this excellent mod.
1) Any plans to make this work for the mixed gender rules setting? Your election script currently ignores it I think (which makes sense given that this is a history-focused mod) but I'm wondering if it would be possible to make it compatible with that setting.
2) When adopting the Princeps Civitatis law, the ruler gets the title of Consul Suffectus. That is a bit unfortunate -- would it be possible instead to slot the ruler into the Princeps Senatus office and then switch that office to the ruler office?
