@FotisP68n They will be a part of an implants mod that I've been working on for a while. The new ones even have some fancy animations. I might release it as a standalone thing too.
Tho idk when it will come out, that mod project's a bit big.

i liked the old version when you could see them on the pawn all the time. Made them look intimidating. would be cool if you could just toggle them rather than only have them out a limited time, as they would be used for battles anyway it unlikely they wont be available unless you get double raided so might aswell be upto players choice to have them one

small tiny thing. Can you change the sticky note in the image to say 1.4? I find it a really neat idea that you put that in the image, and it would be nifty if it continue to be the case ^^

I don't know what the hell broke, but I can't use melee while this is loaded. With a melee weapon equipped (but not unarmed) there is no UI widget for the attack.

@Nazarekt it seems that the VE ramework [and by extension MVCF] has been updated.
From what I checked only stuff that fires on its own is affected [so stuff likegun arms work fine].

When I have a bit of time I'll fix it, it shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm having issue with activating the combat drone. It was fine a few days ago but when I tried today nothing happened and huglibs will log error

What do you think about a psycaster drone that can perform simple psycasts, such as skip or stun, but have little to no weaponry. I guess you could call it an AIcaster, but it would be limited and unable to grow its psychic ability. This could be further expanded with psycasts extended mod allowing ti to hurl bolts of fire, lightning or ice as a weapon. Within limitations ofc.

@yth950 honestly not sure, didn't have the time to fully test that. They don't seem to wanna activate them when the implant is given with devmode or character editor. Didn't get to see a raider spawn with one naturally yet.
If they truly don't spawn with them or they never actually activate them then I have a few ideas for how to fix it.

@torkel9817 would it be possible to share some details? I might be able to fix it if I manage to recreate it. Does it happen with a specific warcasket or does it happen with any? Oh also was the drone or the warcasket installed first? Or is it just...the game craps itself whenever a pawn has both?
If there isn't a solution I can at least try to make it so both cannot be on the same pawn.

Not sure what is causing this, but my pawn with the swarm wrist doesn't have the icon to actually use it, could it be because i got a new set of skills due to A rimworld of magic?

@Squeegy Mackoy it is technically possible, though for animals they tend to have their rendering/draw sizes affected by body size, meaning that a thrumbo-sized animal will have its drone take up a lot of space [like...a lot a lot, they end up larger than the animal].
I'd have to set up the size and offset manually for each species, so sadly it's not gonna happen untill there's a better way of doing it.

It seems to be an issue a few people have encountered. If anyone has any leads then please share 'em.

@DHEF must be a mod interaction issue cuz there's nothing like that happening on my end. Projectiles should simply disappear after hitting something [including the ground].

Dunno if it's a bug or something, but minigun drone seems to have graphical issue that after firing it leaves tons of projectiles called "charge minigun shot" on the ground. The only way to get rid of them is by using dev mode.

@DeoxidizerX I can try looking into making it possibe to activate by itself [as a togglable option of course].
I don't wanna make them active 24/7, I've done that in CD1 and it looks pretty bad [the drones are basically glued to the pawn and it gets very easy to notice that when out of combat].
Unless an option to hide their graphics when the pawn is not drafter or to give them better [or any] animations is added then I'd rather keep them as a temporary buff.

But yeah an option to have them activate automatically would be nice to have, I'l try adding that once I'm done with my other little project.

Any chance we could get an option to have them enabled full time or to auto enable on combat then disable out of combat? For those of us that end up forgetting about it.

@Gary G3 ah, then honestly I have no idea what could possibly cause this. I'd use Character editor to delete them and then reload the save.
I'll try to recreate the bug and see if I can fix it.

No i removed the implant after they were around for for several days thinking wrongly now that maybe that will reset them

@Gary G3 the drones should stay for the 3 hour period even when the implant is removed [if it is removed while the ability is active].
Though if they stayed permamently then that's something I'll need to fix.

ah i see ill try to put on a shield belt that allows ranged attacks and see if it works if not then ill have live without my dual shotguns on a melee pawn.

so i installed the charge shotgun drones onto my revia and well they never fired when i activated the ability. no errors in the log from what i could tell. i am using run and gun and dual wield. my revia was wearing a shield belt.
