I agree it's a bit extreme. While some difference is perfectly fine because of the economies of scale, it shouldn't exceed 5-10% here IMO. I might increase the effectiveness of the small one because it's something in-between the vanilla small and big facilities.

That's very weird, larger buildings should be more labor effiicent, not resource efficent, the bigger treatment plant pays for itself extremely quickly.
robs074  [author] Mar 13, 2023 @ 10:16pm
Yes, it is, just like the larger vanilla one is more efficient than the small vanilla one. They use the same ratios.
Adil3tr Mar 13, 2023 @ 6:16pm
Is the larger one more efficent in turning chemicals into clean water? That's overpowered with the huge cost of chemicals. I calculated 640 tons vs 439 tons for the smaller one per ton of chemicals.

Thanks

Ok, I increased the storage space a bit.
Adil3tr Aug 31, 2022 @ 6:43am
Could you give these more storage for chemicals? That would be really helpful when they add cosmonaut mode.

@Krejcak see my latest post over in the thread we both last commented in.

I have the same problem as Vimes. The water treatment plant is working, it cleans the water, but it cannot be sent to the reservoir.

It used to work without problems. I did not make any change in the game settings

I don't know, they work for me. Maybe disabling heat requires rebuilding or something else is wrong.
Vimes Aug 23, 2022 @ 4:46am
There seems to be a problem with your recent update...

all my water treatment plants that are using your mod are not working, and yet the vanilla ones are. When I replace your current mod with the previous version (I had a backup) they then begin to work fine again.

Thanks

Oh, they changed it in one of the small updates. I've disabled it to match it.
Valdemar Aug 19, 2022 @ 8:33am
Your water treatment plants demand heating in differ of vanilla ones? Is it intended?
Wilm4RRrr Aug 9, 2022 @ 9:43am
yeah it works fine now, had to put a pipe pump between the well and the treatment plant
thank you
robs074  [author] Aug 9, 2022 @ 3:26am
I've just tested it and while it doesn't connect to a substation (which is probably intended) the warning about drinking water disappears as soon as it starts treating water. The default plants work in the same way.

Hi, I like the model of the big water treatment facillity, but it says it needs drinking water to operate but it cant be connected to a water substation (Blue line doesnt show up although the substation is directly near it) sewage connection (brown line) works fine though

I haven't tried this particular building yet but I want to tell you what I really like about your mods:

1. They have lots of forklift connections so you can do many configurations

2. The production levels are correctly scaled with vanilla buildings so I don't feel like I'm cheating when I use these mods

3. They look nice

thanks, Lazor

And of course the bus station.
Thank you Mr. Robs. :)

Again, many thanks. Have another cup of coffee on me - to keep you going :)

I'm planning to make sewage treatment plants, but they are more complex and will take more time.
Vimes Jun 26, 2022 @ 3:05am
Great, just checking and hoped that was right. As noted with all of those connection, they are so useful.

Please consider, if you have the time, for doing something similar for the sewage ones. They are so badly indeed of multi connectors.
robs074  [author] Jun 26, 2022 @ 3:01am
Yeah, the capacity is intended, that's what those big tanks are for. They cost more to build to compensate.
Vimes Jun 26, 2022 @ 2:54am
Absolutely wonderful, I love the amount of pipe connections that these offer.
No more trying to split off, with pumps, with all of these connections.

Did you mean to have the water tank (export) capacity so big..? Useful as a buffer tho, with so many connection, if your production has some temporary issues.

Thanks, as always, for creating and sharing.
