It is a coin toss with faction mods and where scripts are involved, there is no definitive answer as some people say yes others say no.

Ahhh, that's annoyingly unfortunate.
We had to fix the broken embassy building not working and I guess it's had an unforeseen impact.

Maybe it's just working as intended and it felt bugged because I got really "lucky", if there is 1/3 chance of getting that event. I just disband woodbellies if I get too many of them and too few bruisers. Really cool hero.

Shanty Towns can trigger one of three events and it seems like it's not quite working as intended.

I'm playing as greasus and there is a gnoblar shanty town in grimtop and so far I have 7 woodbellies. They appear to spawn a lot and I'm not sure why. I have never gotten them before as greasus and I'm not really sure how this works or if it's a new feature from your update? Are ogres even supposed to get woodbellies?

Idk if this is a bug but for some reason my Woodbelly hero capacity is hardcapped at 5, even though according to my count, I should have more than 6 Woodbelly cap (max level barracks in one camp, level three in the other one).

i think you should add a new unit called an gnoblar slaver that uses a whip as a close range weppion that counters Calvary units

Don't get me wrong, I think them as a horde makes alot of sense, I just think they need cheaper buildings or better economy. Swarming enemies with thousands of Gnoblars feels extremely fun but by around turn 35 or 40 one of 2 northern chaos factions will declare war on you and you're dead. My last one ended yesterday cause magotlord came at me and I had nothing that could deal enough damage to defeat his mount with almost 20,000 health

Whatever changes happen we do want to keep the horde feel, they are after all Gnoblars their strength should be in numbers not might.

@heavy has my mf sandwich I agree. I've tried to play it on normal/hard but their economy is not good enough to sustain the amount of money you need to sink to build up your horde. I like the balance of units but they suffer from having really strong neighbors (Ogres, Nurgle faction or Greenskins) so I feel like they need a buff

Mixu's mostly working on this one and the current updates at the moment, if you've got some suggestions the best place to hit them up is on Da Modding Den discord in their specific mod channel.

If its whacky things you want they're the best one to petition, as for Scrap Upgrades if they don't then they'll probably get something else.

theirs got to be more unit to give them a chance on fighting i fell like most of the time the gnoblars are weaker in compassion to the goblin units my recommendation is to add new units to the mod or either buff the goblins other wise its a very good mod that is suprsling interesting :steamhappy:

So are you ever going to bring back the scrape upgrade mechanic? Because gnoblar units are at a pretty big disadvantage without it, also it just fit them so well.

Something very broken happened to you, Gnoblarnold should be unique, it's possible something catastrophically busted your scripts but I'll have a look around see if anything seems off.

Looks like trading isn't working and I'm assuming an update is needed for the scrap upgrades
Also the underbelly building that gives a ♥♥♥♥ ton of trade resources doesn't actually give you those resources
Is there supposed to be scrap upgrades for units or am i mentally unstable?

2 things: 1 is that there was a playable faction (Lost gnoblars) that spawned in fort jakova randomly after maybe 50 turns, with no active wars, no units or armies in 80 turns so far and its garrison has permanent attrition. And then other thing is that in Skrap towers in gnoblar country there are like 20+ woodbellies all called Gnoblarnold just standing there around the settlements. Could it be conflict with other mods like might of the maw?

I'll pass your suggestions along, I don't personally have a huge amount of time to dedicate to modding currently but Mixu adores the Gnoblars a great deal so I'm sure they will circle back in due time.

TBH I love this mod faction, I get so bored with OP factions & love the fact these guys r just normal - if I win battles its because of my actions vs some borin game mechanic, I also would love to use them somewhere in the Old World map - which has become a must play for me.

Really loving my playthrough with these guys, ended up allying with Kislev and having really good relations with the dwarfs lol

I got the Ogre Kingdoms DLC to get the units I was missing, but now in my current playthrough it seems I lost access to the Regiments of Renown, it just shows up greyed out for me.

cannot for the life of me find out how to recruit half the roster...

on turn 18, playing lord bezer.
cant find scrap-throwers or giants on any building or camp/horde upgrade/tier

any help is appreciated. Mind you i am dense so it could just be me being an idiot.
