Im trying to put on the evasion scarf but it says that it is conflicting with another accessories even when I take everything off is there a fix?

@gijsvandenheerik after lowering the count, picking the accessories out of the slots should make them disappear

is there a way to remove the extra slots after they are added? i had a character that i gave extra slots but wanted to return to the regular amount of slots. but the extra slots did not disappear once i changed the mod config to a lower number.

@Smooth Loadout support was added by tModLoader, so mods adding more loadouts would need tModLoader to recognize this.

Is there any way to make this compatible with one of the mods that add extra loadouts? When I swap between loadouts 1, 2, and 3 the mod works fine, but if I swap to loadout 4, 5, etc. the accessories in the extra slots added by this mod don't change. I do have loadouts support enabled in the config

Hey sorry to bother but does this allow for multiple vanities to overlay eachother? like allowing a hat, horns, and glasses at the same time?

@D+ ZERO I'm pretty sure the term you're referring to is Loadouts, which can be enabled in the settings.

@heosphorous93 Not sure why it would be incompatible with anything, it's a very simple mod. Might be that one of those other mods is doing something funky.

Sorry to bother you. Recently, I encountered a part of this mod that I'm not sure if it's a bug. Previously, when switching accessory configurations, all accessories were switched. However, recently when switching accessory configurations, only the original accessory section is switched, and items added to the accessory section cannot be switched. Is this a bug or a code conflict? I hope to receive an answer, thank you.:steambored:

First off awesome mod. Love playing with it in solo runs and slowly turning it off.

I noticed that the mod doesn't work for bismuth and homeward bound mods. Not sure why but when I unloaded those mods, everything was working perfectly. So I believe it is these 2 mods. I tried them individually. Should I leave a message on those mods?

Best guess after casually glancing at Calamity and TML source is that AccessorySlotLoader.cs from TML method IsAccessoryInConflict thinks that the counter scarf is in conflict with itself because it's only checking for '!player.Calamity().dodgeScarf', and TML is evaluating this only when it exists in a shared slot. The issue is out-of-scope for my mod.

Counter Scarf from Calamity is disabled stating "This accessory slot is disabled since it conflicts with other accessories in this loadout". Stripped all the accessories and the error persisted, except when in the vanilla slots, which then makes it yellow???

Fixed the erroneous additional slot.

I also tested with Calamity and see no issues with accessories in my custom slots working as normal (tested wings, soaring insignia, and the Warding prefix, all seem to apply).

After the latest update, adding this mod will cause an extra accessory slot to appear, even when the additional accessory slot number is set to 0. The issue disappears when this mod is uninstalled

im playing calamity and theres 3 loadouts i have. summoner, ranger, and mage. when i logged on today, i noticed the extra slots duplicated and overwrote to my other loadouts, deleted several of my items. it was working fine yesterday. had to close the game without saving, go to mod config and turn on loadout support. ngl having loadout support turned off by default i dont think is a great idea but thats just me. hope this helps anyone having this issue

the default number of accessory slots in master is 7, but now, it has become 8, with the additional slot count set to 0.

Update released. Supports loadouts now. Loadout support is disabled by default. Tested in a normal world and a master world, with and without loadouts, and could not discern any issues. Make noise if there's problems. Thanks.

The effects of additional accessories, apart from those with default slots, do not apply to the character.

@DeebeeGeezy From my glancing, it seems like a mod could add support to have it toggle-able. I will look into it in the future, but I won't be back home until mid-August to work on it.

@Aeryn Yes, I know and understand, I'm not saying this problem is your fault, I was pointing out that I discovered the reason for my problem in case someone else had it, do you have any idea how to prevent this from happening? something that can be disabled in the recent changes? or is it more complicated because of the Tmodloader coding?

@DeebeeGeezy This is due to a change to tModLoader, specifically this commit https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/commit/1a0c5e0102a91379ebe7e2ffcc9ce5d9f6e11a6f

This mod has never made any attempt to support or not support loadouts.

Ok, this message is for anyone who has a problem with the mod, similar to what happened to me, july's update, ruined, or at least for me, this mod, because of "Add equipment loadouts support for ModAccessorySlot", that's the main reason now the extra slots change with the vanilla loadouts, i have been trying to find a way to disable or deactivate this, but I haven't been able to do anything :c

Now I have a question, this mod broke for me, when I resubscribe it just does not install, on Tmodloader it won't install either, it tells me to manually resubscribe it but that just doesn't help lmfao

@Dee I may revisit higher numbers in the future, but right now I am only pushing updates/maintenance if the mod needs it due to TML updates.

@Toxzik5 I don't have any concrete plans. It's not exactly difficult to keep it maintained so it'll probably stay around for a long while.
