Anyone else has the issue were all hairs still appear on the styling station and pawns never attempt to adjust to the ideology's allowed hair style?

1.6: Loading appears to work, but saving does not. If you have pre-existing presets, this may still be useful in loading them in.

Vogel, I saw your github pull request, I think your changes fixed the saving problem everyone's having so I'll add that to the mod, so thank you soo much for that!

Synced github version with workshop version (github version was outdated since 1.3) and recompiled for 1.5. Also created a pull-request to author.
It works fine for me.

Would love it if this worked.

Agreed, how clunky the default UI for Ideology is always puts me off.

Would something similar be possible for precepts so unwanted, unnecessary, and pointless randomization can be undone when changing memes?

It is safe to manually delete these files, but let me know if you have any problems! :)

These save files have the same structure as Rimworld's save game files (.rws) so deleting the .idh files should be the same as deleting the .rws files.

Question for the mod author. Is it safe to manually delete the hair presets/.IDH files from:

C:\Users\⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\SaveAndLoadIdeoHair

I ask because I wish to manually delete said files, as I have uninstalled hair mods that my presets once used, and I don't wish to load hair presets that will have errors in them.

+1 for custom difficulties, I'd also truly treasure that.

This mod is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY if you play with Ideology enabled at all. There is one other thing though..

In vanilla for some reason you can't save custom difficulties, so when I want to play without "reinforced barrels" nerfing my mortars, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disease chances, or simply want to play my personalized difficulty settings I have to re-do it every single time. It would be amazing if there was a mod for this already, but the only one I found seems incomplete. If this mod is at all similar, I would love to see a version of this for difficulty settings!

This mod doesn't seem to work for me at all. When I load a preset I get the wrong hairs enabled. I'll link a log when I have the time

oh god... this is so wonderful... one of the big pains of a new game (Aside from the loading because a billion mods) was having to do the annoying clicking through 200 hairstyles so I only get the ones I like... from now on... I will have just one last time.

I gave up on customized ideologies for NPC factions as soon as I realized that I couldn't save them (or parts thereof).

This glorious mod seems to help with hairs, which is good news. Could this be extended in the future to tattoos (and ideally to whole ideologies) ? I know this shouldn't up to the modding community to fix, but I have to at least ask.

Seriously though, I couldn't give a flying f*ck about Steam deck support. I'd rather Tynan work on finalizing features of his own official DLC that are 100% easier to provide and subsequently support on the dev's side than modders could reasonably achieve.
