We won't be doing individual song toggles in VCMM. The lead composer doesn't want it, and I'm not keen on maintaining such a feature

it may be a large ask, but please anyway to choose between songs or at least have recourse pack songs take priority. no matter what though, great mod

You may instead be hearing one of the Workshop themes, which is different from the Town theme and plays no matter the time

The music seems to loop on itself in town, it doesn't seem to change between the day/night themes. Other than that, beautiful OST. Feels like I'm playing a different game.

Music boxes make the mod required for all people. Can't really work around that and we're not removing them

I'm not really interested in adding any more priority configs, but I've heard one of the extra music ports already has a priority config
The next update will make VCMM music less overpowering over other mods

@apotokoolaid if a config for each song isn't possible would a config to prioritize Calamity Extra Music be possible? There is already a config to prioritize Infernum music so I don't see how that would be any different. Granted I don't make mods so maybe that isn't possible I don't really know.

It's possible, but you're right that it'd be too difficult to maintain. Heart also doesn't want them for her music, so there won't be any large config for this mod
You'll have to look at the config options in these other vanilla music mods if they exist

Would it be possible for you to add configs to enable/disable specific tracks? I don't know if that would be too hard to do or not. I'm trying to get it to work with other music mods and it always takes priority so I can't get specific themes I want.

Try downloading it off of the discord server (linked above) and running the mod file

You can already cancel out the Hardmode one by setting music to 0
Credits cancel out when you leave your world
There will be no toggles for them

please add the option where you can toggle interludes

I messed with both mods config and did not get the music to change. I think the problem is that this mod has overrides Calamity Extra Music thus making it impossible to have both mods work at the same time, or maybe they are just incompatible

I've heard one of the extra music ports has a config like this, try looking for one with that
If there isn't one with a config, then you'll have to ask the creator of one of those mods to make one

it sadly doesn't work with Calamity Extra Music. I think that the issue could be solved if you where able to disable the boss tracks that overlap in the two mods in this mods config, but I have no clue if that would work or how hard that would be to implement.

That usually means one or more of your mods is outdated. Make sure all of them are on the latest version

Nah it won't. VCMM has its own music boxes

will this interfere with an already existing world? like for example: if i have music boxes of the vanilla music, will this just replace them entirely???

Party Girl music toggle for otherworld tracks doesn't really work. It'll toggle the track of the biome she's currently in if it doesn't have a track from this mod, but other biomes that doesn't have a track from this mod still plays their vanilla, non-otherworld tracks.

Example: Party Girl in Surface Hallow, music toggle changes Surface Hallow to otherworld track, but Jungle, Underground Desert, Underground Hallow etc still plays vanilla non-otherworld music.
