Hey @Kryse! Good luck at your work, remember to not burn yourself out. A big part in getting more responsibilities is when to tell people no. You might exceed your limits, but it's a thankless thing to do if it results in your never having any free-time to do what you want. Learn your tools, but learn your limits. Be able to explain and debate for both.

Is my character able to pick up a corpse and just automatically put it in a container I selected?

@CosmicGiant I'm still here, but I get your point... I haven't had time to invest in this. I'm still watching the list of comments from time to time, but my job takes 140% of my time ATM, but I'd love to get back to this game with my mates and die stupidly... As we always did.

Can be marked as abandoned for the moment, but I might pitch in with other ideas in the future.

PSA: This has not been updated in years. I recommend to use "Corpses auto move" by AuD instead. Props and respect to Kryse for this mod on its time though! These corpse-moving mods are must-haves!

is there a chance we can get an mod that does the same but for Items? Probs limiting to indoor items only? would be really helpful if you use the Disassemble Container With Items mod which makes it so items drop out of the containers if you break them. a good example would be you break every create in a warehouse and want to move the items in 1 spot

causes errors.

The bottomless grave bug happens when the character has no shovel in inventory when the grave reaches 5/5 or if the filling action is interrupted.

I'd like to request the feature to target containers as well.
I like to build graveyards and or that it's often necessary to move corpses via vehicle.
Moving corpses from ground to car trunk would be a real help.

I have an idea that when you right click on a tile there is an option to automatically move all the nearby corpses to the selected tile

I grabbed this mod because I was hoping I could use it to quickly load corpses into a garbage bin for easy deletion, but it seems it doesn't let you automatically store corpses. Would it be possible to add that function?

In behalf of End Of Days Server I would like to ask for permission to add this mod in our server's mod pack.

Considering how much time it takes to dig a grave, being able to place an unlimited amount of bodies in a grave is actually really good. I'm playing with reanimating dead and zombie evolution so this is a huge time and life saver

So this mod allows the player to put unlimited bodies in graves. Basically if you use the Grab-Dump Corpse control option and you click on an already full grave, you're still able to put more and more bodies, bypassing the 5/5 limit!

Slynx Jewel , Did you test it yourself to find if it is compatible, I have the same mods as well.

just in case....
there is a mod which makes dragging corpses(and generators) visible. is it compatible with your mod?
if not - can you make it compatible or it's too much hassle?

Up to you really. This mod is great, but I'm not actually going to use it until the situation where it might come in handy arrives. So I'm just throwing out ideas while they're fresh in my head.

@Kryse You can use Crafting Contextmenu Antilag to remedy the lag when right-clicking items in inventory.

I will be looking also into adding hotkeys
(I personally hate how my whole computer stutters when I right click and have a full inventory)

It would be incredible if this had cross-compatibility with the crematorium mod so that if it's present depositing corpses into fires / 'fireplaces' would cremate them -- it would be huge QoL between the two.

Ok, there is another solution to this. Install Autotsar Trailer mod, then move GNV trailer next to body pile and dump them in, then xfer them to next firepit and move from inventory on the ground. GNV250 holds about 12 bodies per load. This is another solution, not replacing manual corpse move.

Thanks for the mod, it's a real QOL thing. I just reported a bug to the discussion thread along with a solution.

Would be cool if this could be used to put bodies into the back of the garbage truck, that trunk counts as a garbage can I think?

@Cheeri, seemingly no. Sadly, I encountered the same with the 41.73 update just few days ago. The update or some other update messed up my save where I encountered the same weird issue. I did not have this mod before now.

I'm just dropping by all my recently added mods- does your mod secretly force every single car to have a glove box full of pens, aviator sunglasses, leather gloves, hunting knife, hand torch, and batteries, while also filling the backseats and trunk with corpses?

I don't think I've subscribed to anything that explicitly says it would do this so now I'm on the hunt for who did this, assuming I'm correct. Thanks

a fantastic mod for clearing up hordes into neat piles.

i killed about 30 zombies in an area and was able to stand in the middle of them all
and grab bodies from the surrounding tiles and place them into the middle to make it easy as pie to loot them all of the useful stuff.

Highly recommend.

I can actually stop cheating for moving corpses! Lol. Amazing mod, really not sure how they thought the current system is in any way okay.

@Banzaikoowawid It wasn't the lua, it was more of the game interaction with the items/worldObjects ( As the modding documentation is pretty much years old or non existent, I've mostly self documented myself from the decompiled game. ), so what I tried started to consume more processor power than intended.
( I'll still try to make this implementation after I'm finished with the current mod I'm working on. )

The idea isn't bad tho, I just can't see how to implement it yet. The corpse carry mechanism kind of "equips" the corpse as a 2handed weapon, there are also multiple checks that need to be overridden.
I'll have to get back to you on this after I've had some time to try it out.
