With that said..... i've started experimenting with adding Dierdrick and Dylan's cabinets as a separate add on but again, RL is tough atm.
So TL;DR; Yes, I want them too but going to take awhile
Some of the recipes require you to read the magazine first
HOWEVER, I have a couple ideas to make an always-weapons display case that may work. Gonna take some time with real-life butting it's head in for the next couple weekends but hopefully it'll work.
There is (or was, since the debug menu is now split into basic and developers versions) a few settings in the debug list that revolve around rooms.
But I'm not sure if they are for designating a building as something or just for spawning things inside as that.
I've only used it once or twice (up in the strip club in Louisville, as it was empty so I used it to try to spawn dancers.)
Didn't work so used individual zombie spawn
Will have to look into it more, but it does tell you what a room needs to be able to be designated as things at least.
If we had displays that don't have filled appearances we could at least use them and place things on top with 'place item' that's what I do lol.
It makes me wonder some times, if some of the old CC and in game furniture for sims1 couldnt be copied over, even if it was just looks mostly (looking at you, cheap shower and showering animation)
Personally, I'm wanting fake decor foods now. Want foods to display that don't decay and go rotten for laying the table ect.
Don't care if they are never edible again (lol) maybe craftable by using the food item and something like clay or plastic ect.
Just want to decorate places once I've got a decent base set up, ya know? XD
can we hope for an "Improvised Room definitions"? thanks for another of your useful mods
There are some matching over counter cabinets (a black ash style one springs to mind lol) that would be excellent as extra content.
It would be worth hunting down another (extra) magazine for extra cupboards (at least for me lol)
