I looks fantastic!... But I feel like the whole "moon unusual effect" has been done one too many times. The style just doesn't mesh well with the older effects or TF2 style in general but it's still very well made

Making items and effects for the TF2 workshop should be on the bottom of the list of things you can do with skill in programs. I may not know what everyone's exact taste is but i do know that universally people want effects and cosmetics that complement existing ones and aren't too showy. I ain't too big on trading either, only reason i do it is because i can't afford to just buy anything i want so i just work with what i have with to try to get what i want. I'm giving my view because i want it to be known what the quota of the workshop should go by and the only thing i ever see on any cosmetic on this platform now is constant praise until it actually gets added in the game and everyone regrets voting on it. If the workshop was structured better votes would matter instead of Valve just taking random dart throws and filling cases with bad filler cosmetics purely to get people to spend more money unboxing for what little real quality cosmetics and effects are in each case.

i dont understand what is so appalling to you that you have to assume this is a simple "cash grab". Instantly makes me think you're an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who doesnt know that its not easy to come up with ideas that actually work etc. And im assuming you're a trader from your profile, which are stereo-typically known to ♥♥♥♥ on any unusual effect on the workshop that doesnt incorporated purely particles. Also that you mention that its "awful" and "low effort" without taking into account that it takes time to learn the programs. You're under-appreciating almost everyone on the workshop

Why should I make an effect? I'm just telling you from a consumer standpoint and player of the game what this is. Also why would i want to even try making an effect or anything on the workshop for that matter if it will just get overshadowed by all the awful low effort items that are made purely just for money and no correspondence to what the entirety of the community wants.
