@OniJechto I'm encountering the same exception that 69 has posted below. It seems like there is a specific mineral that is throwing an exception when the core drill tries to mine it.

I can see that the exception throws only after the drilling tick goes by but I couldn't tell you what resource was throwing the exception. It doesn't always throw the exception when the tick goes by, it does so at random pretty much.

If it helps, my drill was not on relic mode.

for some reason u have to click on collect hopper then collect hopper over and over closing the tab each time as it just spits out 1 relic each time you open and click collect

ive researched and built the Core Drill. How do i get it to start? I can open the "control" but only have a button for relic toggle.

Not working with factory hoppers, not working with base rimworld hopper, i have no idea what it needs. Maybe mod is just broken.

@SPMO infestations are triggered per drill tick, if you have 1.5% it means that 1.5% of your ores are infested. I suggest adding infestations augments or remove some speed modules or don't drill after artifacts.

Does anyone else get 1-2 infestations a day it says 1.5% chance but im getting up to 4 a day??

@Oblivion2012 Currently, not. This wasn't really intended to be integrated with rimfactory. Might add auto eject if there is enough demand

@Mayjory That would appear to be a bug. What you can do i place the drill without anything surrounding it, clicking, and copy any error logs that come up.

What are the requirements to get stuff out of the drill? I have a full drill and collecting from its UI doesnt do anything. Ive tried surrounding it with walls, with and without upgrades, and doing various zones around it, but despite trying everything i can think of, nothing ever comes out from the drill.

@TeH_Dav - yes, but there is a trick. If you enclose the entire thing in a wall (augments and all), the "Empty Hopper"button will drop the yield neatly on the outside of that wall. The infestations will also be conveniently teleported outside. Also, it's ok to have a door as long as it's closed - useful for replacing the drill.

Are the drill augments supposed to only work if they're directly attached, therefor limiting how much space you have to actually take items out of the drill....?

UPD: Nevermind. The mining progress has to get to at least 1.0 of a certain resource in order for it to be collected.Then the button works fine and extracts all resources which have reached that amount. Unexpectedly deep mechanics (pun intended) =)

Tapping Collect Hopper does nothing for me. All cells around the drill are absolutely free save for one power cable feeding it. No upgrade modules. I'm playing teh Biomes! Caverns underground map.

How do you access the control UI? The only option pawns have is refuel, which I assume is the pipes.

Nice Mod !! I can use the hopper but there is stil alot of stuff ion the inventory shown as blue bar. How can i get the stuff out ? the hopper extracts only a bit

also the mine resets to basic mode from relic mining when i reload a world. thats less significant but i thought you might want to know as well

One bug i'm encountering is harvesting a infinite chem while relic mining destroys the drill when you attempt to collect it from the drills inventory

You can make a configurable menu in the mod menu that turns these events off for a vanilla experience.
