Absolutely no clue, I don't play the game currently, but feel free to test and see and come back here with news ^^

Does it work for b42?
His Imperial Bodgeness Jul 23 @ 3:01am
No worries, thanks for taking the time to respond!
Nez  [author] Jul 22 @ 11:47pm
The OG "West Point Expansion" map won't be updated, the guy abandoned the project, which is fair, but also means I won't be updating this as it really won't be needed ^^
Furthermore, I really play PZ these days and think I lost the source files for this :\
His Imperial Bodgeness Jul 22 @ 10:29am
Hey man, any plans on porting this to build 42 once mapping tools (and the original map) are updated?
Beanulator Mar 21, 2024 @ 9:17pm
Dude thanks so much for making this, the roads not connecting bother me so much even though it's a fairly small problem. Fixed and even now
Nez  [author] Jan 31, 2024 @ 12:34am
Either, it only altets a cell adjacent to WPE, so order doesn't matter ^^
FlyingSquid96 Jan 30, 2024 @ 2:13pm
should i load this before or after wp expansion in mod load order?
TraumaSCL Dec 14, 2023 @ 3:35pm
very good work. Bro, could you fix the roofs of the houses that do not disappear when you enter and it is impossible to loot or make them shelters D: please
KrazY_KykeR Nov 13, 2023 @ 4:28am
Okay, thank you:deadrat:
Nez  [author] Nov 12, 2023 @ 11:06pm
Adding maps to a current save is huge no-no, it's very unlikely to work because of how the game is designed, if you feel adventurous tho, you can google around for solutions, they do exist.
KrazY_KykeR Nov 12, 2023 @ 10:44am
As I understand it, it’s better not to use it in the current save?
Nez  [author] Nov 10, 2023 @ 3:37am
Yeap, think this was mentioned in a previous comment too. It is what it is.
MoonlitShade Nov 9, 2023 @ 5:22pm
Conflicts with "Battlefield Louisville: The Airfield" using cell 42x21, for anyone curious
Nez  [author] Oct 13, 2023 @ 12:49am
As does yours ^^
iKyriousi Oct 12, 2023 @ 10:56pm
Your profile picture very much confused me
submackeen Oct 6, 2023 @ 8:57am
Ah, I see. Thanks.
Nez  [author] Oct 6, 2023 @ 7:43am
You can see it in the files, in the last folder where all the map files are, there'll be a .lotheader file with a number, this number indicates the cell, one file for each cell.

In this case 42_21.lotheader, so cell 42,21
submackeen Oct 6, 2023 @ 5:29am
Would you mind saying the exact cells this map replaces?
Nez  [author] Aug 24, 2023 @ 9:48pm
I never even knew there was a Single Player version of InGameMaps, I usually just do without tbh, but cool, I'll try to keep that in mind should I hear about others having issues ^^
ZigZagZouave Aug 24, 2023 @ 2:12pm
I don't blame you. You need to be careful what projects you hoist upon yourself.
Ok, It seams obvious now. But I was using "InGameMaps [Westpoint Expansion]", After switching to "InGameMaps [Westpoint Expansion] Single Player" all my problems went away. The mod page makes no mention of this other version, neither does the non-single player versions description in game say to expressly use it for multiplayer. "The Mega Map Project", which I'm trying to expand upon, also makes no mention of using the single player one. I was also planning on playing with these mods in multiplayer in the future. All that combined didn't allow me to see the answer right in front of my nose.
Disapearing City Solved! haha only took most the day.
Also I can give you that  now. Thanks again Nez!

Oh he's still active in the community, but he did come out and say that he would not work on the map anymore, sadly he did so in the comments, so newcommers and people who don't know, just assume it's a "post and forget about it" map mod, but he actually did say personally that he would not update it, he's still active on the PZ discords, at least the modding one that I'm on, I thought about asking him for the source files, as they're needed to do further work on it (the files from the mod your download isn't enough), but dropped the idea as I don't like the idea of having to wrap my head around someone the work someone else did, with whatever quirks and setups he has to make it work, I'd rather do something from scratch, but it's quite and undertaking, that I've toyed around with a lot, but with other games and PZ not being my main game, so to speak, it's not likely to happen/get finished anytime soon ^^
ZigZagZouave Aug 24, 2023 @ 7:41am
I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. Sadly no luck. Was going to manually delete but just unsubing completely removes the mod. Verified integrity of game files. Still no luck. Reinstalled the game, still same result. I think it just wasn't meant to be.
Yeah someone updating WE or making it bigger would be great. The author recieved a badge as recently as August 12th so I'm guessing they just don't play PZ anymore. If you feel up to it you should think about sending them a message to take up the reins.
Anyhow, thank you for your time and effort.
Nez  [author] Aug 23, 2023 @ 11:45pm
My only real suggestion would be to reinstall the game and quadruple check the mod list, if reinstalling isn't an option, then at the very least, manually delete the mod folder for West Point Expansion and see if a redownload when you launch the game works... I've said many times in the West Point Expansion comments that I don't have the load problems that many seem to have, and never had them, so that's really all the advice I can give ^^ Someone should definitely take over the West Point Expansion map and get it up to date, or even better make an even bigger version, that'd be cool, I've considered that in the past :P
ZigZagZouave Aug 23, 2023 @ 11:33pm
Just tried for over an hour to get this to work. Road looks great, map looks great, but the city is just gone except the cars. Mini map says I spawn in a building but my character is just in a forest. Only have "Westpoint Expansion", "InGameMaps", "Mod Manager" and this mod active. Also for some reason the picture that shows up when I select Westpoint Expansion as the spawn point disapears as well. I just have no clue seeing as no one else seems like they have this problem. Appreciate the idea of the mod though. I noticed that broken road right away. Also really like those other improvements you made in the pictures. If anyone has a suggestion as to how I might fix this I'd appreciate that as well.
Nez  [author] May 4, 2023 @ 1:53am
It would be easier for the guy who made the mod, to make a road fix similar to the one I did, that includes all of his own assets, the method for making this mod was to recreate the whole of the affected tile from scratch..

In all honesty, the mod creator probably didn't know about this mod, otherwise I'm sure he would've tried to place it somewhere else, but for ease, it would be on him to make that, since he have his original files.
Carrier002 May 3, 2023 @ 9:35pm
Would it be possible to make a version compatible with https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2968922931&
Nez  [author] Apr 18, 2023 @ 1:01pm
Short answer: Yes... This is just an add to West Point Expansion, you will still need the other map, there was an update at some point to the roads in the game that made them curved, and that messed up some of the road leading out of the map mod, since the creator of the map mod abandoned the project, I made this as a supplement so it looks smooth :)
tuuryy Apr 18, 2023 @ 12:59pm
hola como estas, es necesario usar la otra version del mod map o solamente con el tuyo ya es suficiente.
hello how are you, is it necessary to use the other version of the mod map or just yours is enough.
Thanks. (google traduccion) =D
Divisionic Apr 14, 2023 @ 4:22pm
Aw, that's a bummer to see that he abandoned the project. Well, in this case, for compatabilities sake, we will use his mod too with credits, that is.

Thank you for granting us permission! High fives going out! :steamhappy:
Nez  [author] Apr 14, 2023 @ 4:20pm
Yea go for it, I don't see any problem with that, as for West Point Expansion itself, the author doesn't reply to comments and abandoned the project a long time ago, so I'm sure he won't mind the one being used either, saw you asking on there too ^^
Divisionic Apr 14, 2023 @ 12:55pm
Hello, I'm here on behalf of the Blacklake Roleplay community, and I wanted to ask you if we would be able to receive your permission to use your Map Mod in our Modpack?
Nez  [author] Apr 3, 2023 @ 2:01am
This Map and West Point Expansion don't overlap, I chose the first cell outside of West Point on purpose for this exact reason, and cos it was easier to recreate, so unless you have another map mod that changes that cell, load order shouldn't matter.

Alternatively, you can try the Mod Manager mod, just enable it and the mod screen will look completely different

Mod Manager Link

It has a "Map Priority Order" button in the lower right corner that'll start pulsing if you have maps that are clashing.

Hope this helps.

Man I've tried this 10 different times. Fresh wipes and all. Load order etc etc. I cannot get this to work the roads never line up for me
Nez  [author] Mar 4, 2023 @ 8:35am
@LiptonDI
Have you referred to the before and after pics?
I religiously use West Point Expansion, my road fix as well as InGameMaps with each other with no issued and no crashes. So if you can provide more info such as if you've tried loading with just the mods in question and tried messing with load orders, that'd be great.
LiptonDI Mar 3, 2023 @ 6:10pm
Hi, just to inform that the In-game Map that comes with this mod is not showing on the map, and that this mod causes a crash when opening the map using the mod InGameMaps West Point Expansion submod included in it.
Nez  [author] Dec 26, 2022 @ 5:20pm
Well, it is, but it's not a mini map fix, there's another mod that does that to an acceptable extend, this mod just aims "to fix the broken road leading out of the northbound highway, when using the West Point Expansion map".

Cos Zomboid added curved roads in an update after West Point Expansion, and this just makes it a more fluid and immersive transition out of West Point.
chornobyl Dec 26, 2022 @ 3:33pm
I misunderstood, I thought it was a fix to the west point expansion mod.
Nez  [author] Dec 25, 2022 @ 11:41am
Added pictures so people can see what the mini map looks like before and after. If you don't see it, you're doing something wrong, not something I can fix, cos it ain't broken on my end ^^
chornobyl Dec 25, 2022 @ 7:50am
can u add in-game map the extension?
Nez  [author] Nov 10, 2022 @ 12:41am
Nah not at all man, don't sweat it ^^
Yoko Nov 9, 2022 @ 11:46am
fair fair, anyway thank you for the talk bro sorry if i was a bother my guy
Nez  [author] Nov 9, 2022 @ 10:02am
Riiight, most of the stuff people seem to write about when it comes to maps is the actual in-game world map thing, so I thought that was what you were on about..

I don't personally ever get that one as it doesn't serve too much of a purpose ^^
Yoko Nov 8, 2022 @ 3:19pm
not mini map my good sir the actual map item that you read, its not a map its litterly listed as an item that you cant read not a mini map
Nez  [author] Nov 8, 2022 @ 1:33pm
No, that's an in-game item loot map, like the ones you can find for the other cities, it's not for the actual minimap.
Yoko Nov 8, 2022 @ 7:26am
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2199111256&searchtext=west+point this is from the creator of west point expanded tho and its a fix for the map i think, but its broken
Nez  [author] Nov 8, 2022 @ 2:50am
He didn't do that, some other modder made it, because his map is from before in-game maps were made, so sadly there's no way around that really.
Yoko Nov 7, 2022 @ 8:13am
i mean he did make the ingame map a seperate mod, can that be fixed?
Nez  [author] Nov 6, 2022 @ 2:54pm
Repacking could be done, but considering the amount of subs West Point Expansion already has and the fact that my tiny change (which doesn't actually touch any West Point Expansion tiles) should come up in a search for it too, I think it would be disrespectful to the original author (despite the fact he has abandoned the map, and said so), so I personally wouldn't do it ^^

I'd rather want to get my hands on the source files for West Point Expansion so proper combine them, but the guy didn't accept my friend request so I could message him, sadpanda.
Yoko Nov 6, 2022 @ 10:14am
hey Nez considering you fixed the road issue for west point is repacking the mod allowed? considering all the other ingame map item is broken and the author seems unresponsive
