Tbh, as mediocre as this is, i would want it in game because you get the exact same item when you beat the final boss in Splatoon 3 lmao

It is indeed bare minimum. While making this item there was probably no thought about the game style, its time set etc. It is also so sad looking at wasted potential of the workshoper's skills. Item is well modeled and textured but it doesn't belong in the game. It is like no one thought about the fact does this fit the character or not.

Gosh I have yet to defeat a bug-err slime bear in a different shooter entirely :/

See, the guy below gets it. It's not the laziness of the item that's the problem, it's that Valve tends to add said items JUST because they're all-class and basic (even the name of the item itself implies this). What we need is less of THESE items flooding the workshop and more items like the Cozy Coveralls (Engineer outfit that could combo with a good chunk of items) or The Crate Crashers (shoe cosmetic for Scout & Demo that isn't season-specific which, in turn, has more diversity in loadout usage). Also, hoping an item gets in just to spite others (referring to Dr's comment) shows how little (if at all) you care about the decline of genuinely well-made content releasing, and (based on estimation of said comment) would rather see the game crumble for your own personal amusement. I can only hope this mindset of yours will fade away so you can see just how blindly destructive it is.

I only wish it was easy to take the piss out of lazy workshop creators without also making something that, even if you don’t really want them to, Valve will still probably actually add in because they seem to think that we’re ok with crates of nothing but boring, repetitive garbage.

As much as I don't really like this, over the day I've come to accept that it's an okay misc. It's nicely-made, obviously it's a joke, but I do wish that it was maybe a bit more tattered-looking (to look like wilder, rather than the cutesy teddy look it has now).

Can't blame them when (for the most part) cosmetics that DO get added end up being garbage that doesn't match with anything and looks like trash Soldier dug up from a nearby junkyard, wasting case slots for items that have actual effort put into them, with the community having to wait numerous months for the next row of items to be added (which again ends up being mostly shit items, at least in recent times). Smissmas 2021 is a good example of this problem. (reply to Alex.bsp)

There's a lot of items to get upset over, but this one's not one of em, it's cute lol (and not le randumb like the mittens or eye headbands, ear headbands exist). Plenty smaller community-made accessories been added pre-case era. Sight for Sore Eyes, Industrial Festivizer, Googly Gazer, Pocket Medic, Made Man, Crocodile Smile, Surgeon's Stethoscope, Couvre Corner, Spectre's Spectacles, Dr. Whoa, Toss-proof Towel, Sneaky Spats of Sneaking, Business Casual, you get the idea. Feel like people are getting mad for the sake of getting mad now. A lot of hats on the workshop suck and I hate current trends, but this is far from offensive, have some optics for your disappointment.
