Trying to repair an warehouse window, from what i understand the only windows you can create/replace are the 6 shown? i'm asking can you repair different windows than the 6 shown.

idk why youd repair a window when you can grab a crowbar and grab a fresh window to replace your broken one

Are you only able to repair the 6 windows shown? Or can you repair ANY window?

Hey man, I think there is a bug. I cannot repair a window if there are barricades (metal bars) on it.

Running just this mod on debug mode for testing, game threw up an error about crafting UI and crashed. Reloading the game, all items from the mod (magazines, panes, even the roasting pans that had been used) were missing, barring the single window I had crafted still in my inventory :/

Is there plans to add larger panes for the other styles of windows maybe make them harder/more expensive to craft or only able to find in warehouses?

if you guys find out that you cannot smelt glass that you find in trash can, you need to put it on the ground and pick it back up so the mod notice it as broken glass that can be smelt.

@Jardani, I believe it is the vanilla roasting pan and not the baking tray

The vanilla baking tray is not the same one used in the recipe for melting the shards, where can I find the right one or is it part of another mod or something?

nvm i just completely forgot to try the place item button i assumed it was in the build menu

how does one actually use the window once i have it, I'm playing in multiplayer and I've only used the mod in sp so i dont know how to use the windows rather than repairing

It works fine in SP. In MP it is disabled I think.

Is it possible to repair those big windows that go from floor to the ceiling with this aswell?

Edit to my post below: I placed the shards back on the ground, picked them up and could prepare for smelt again. BUT this is no solution for 150+ shards :D

I absolutely love this mod! But I got a bug, where I'm not able to prepare glass anymore :/
I was able to smelt about 40 glass panes, put them away for inventory space and even after reloading and trying different things, I couldn't make any more preparations for the smelting :/

Just wanted to say I really enjoyed this mod. Saw it floating around for a while and finally joined a server with it, proved invaluable for car maintenance. Feels reasonably balanced in terms of effort vs reward too!

So does BuildingMenu have the same features as this mod? Does building menu also allow fixing vehicle windows? Or is there a feature gap if you have building menu vs this with regards to glass making?

The other mod doesn't say if its a hard incompatibility, or if there will just be duplicate windows.
Can you check it out and add compatibility if possible?

uhm,author,i think there is a bug,i saw the handyman magazine(the one that teachers how to smelt glass is not mark with the has been read mod and i have that mod enabled,also after i read the magazine,i was gonna prepare the glass in the roast pan to smelt but i dont have that option because it seems like after i read it,i didnt learned the recipe,so please take your time and fix this bug,thankyou

Can these be used to put glass panes in the carpentry crafter wooden walls w/ windows? I'm trying to build a tree house base that doesn't feel like a vault but will keep the cold out while having windows

Hi Orc, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I've encountered that some broken glass is not useable in the "Prepare Glass for Smelting" recipe as shown in the image linked below.

I've checked with debug mode and noticed that there are two different types of broken glass, 4 variations that are called "Base.brokenglass_1_#", whereas the ones used for your recipe are called "Moveables.brokenglass_1_#". Not sure how you obtain one or another, but if it's possible it'd be nice to have an option that can convert all glass types defined as "Base.brokenglass_1_#" to "Moveables.brokenglass_1_#".

@lubecio1234 I haven't had time to really research it any furhter since the last major update. The problem I had was synchronizing it between the client and the server. It worked for the person doing it, but never for anyone else or after the server restarted

It's honestly on my todo list, but things in real life have been absolutely chaotic for the last 6-8 weeks and doens't look like it's going to slow down anytime soon

@Who? It shouldn't be too rare unless you added it in mid-game when tehe zones were already discovered. Zomboid only spawns items when they are first visited or when loot respawn triggers.
