I got it to work, but does anyone know why the camera angle commands don't work?

i managed to make it work with half life 2
but the animations are missing so ill try something

mine is gray gordon can someone give me a full in depth instruction to fix it i did the steps as he put in description and gordon is still gray

when i go to the mod folder and try to install it there is no vpk its a source game addon

For a bind, do this in console or your game.cfg

alias "tpm" "thirdperson; bind [key] fpm"
alias "fpn" "firstperson; bind [key] tpm"

Once you do both just type fpm or tpm in console and tada! Your bind is set! If you're too lazy to do it ingame then you could try to add "paste sv_cheats 1; paste fpm" but idk if that will work

Guys you don't need to edit "gameinfo.txt", just drop the file into your custom folder and it'll work fine.

@Pytomaniax There are anims for when you don't have any weapons in the DM files, some of which I think are from HL2 DM and Gmod, but since you never spawn without a weapon in DM, I think CC didn't feel the need to include those anims, so they were never activated. If I found out how to activate them or however, I would immediately apply them to Gordon.

the t pose means Gordon doesn't have animations for empty hands or a proper one for throwables , maybe poking around the multiplayer anims you can find some

A pity that Half-Life 2 presents more impositions when it comes to adding a third-person model.

So after I go through all the options, I can go to the options in the menu and there will be a new option to bind keys to enable and disable 3rd person?

Just subscribed to this, I'm probably not going to try it yet, just a comment going on the description and the comments pointing issues, do you think it could be possible to do something so you could just easily switch modes?

I'm thinking I'd love to see Gordon in 3rd person in some of the more platform parts of the games as well as just using ladders and running around, but in some of the more demanding battles it might be better to go back to 1st person (especially if the shots don't align with the cursor).

I'll probably test it at some point but just leaving there in case it's something you can work on for this.
