Getting an occasional bug where infection forms will attempt to infect a corpse only for the corpse to just despawn and never turn into a combat form. Happens inconsistently, not sure what causes it. Doesn't throw any errors that I can see, either.

So I saw A flood pure form Tank in RubixRaptor's (jay) video 3 weeks ago. Is this something that was tested by ignis or is it not something we are going to get in the public?

You really should add larger forms or pure flood forms for bodies that can't spawn normally infected. Kinda just work around the infection bug is my advice. It would be a lot of work but likely less so than reworking the infection system.

Is there an some kind of blocking after spawning like 50 flood Combat forms. I Spawned 50 combat forms on Opfor and after that i coudn´t spawn more

Try upping the throw distance for the vehicles too. That may add some damage as well sense vehicles dont like being tossed. I forget the coefficient but theres a point they toss and deal just enough to destroy.

yeah i turned them on since it seemed to be off by default , though it seemed the mongoose was the only vehicle that has this oddity where the wheels are removed but it can still drive at full speed.

so i think my point is a little moot anyway.

Also when the flood are allowed to deal damage to vehicles (seemed to be zero by default?) they can remove tires with out the game realizing the car has no tires. Or atleast more specifically the mongoose from OPTRE did this.

Hm, It seems when using this with Antistasi Ultimate it causes tremendous slow down. not lag per say, but more like interactions and count downs get slowed by a factor of 100 when around dead flood. but i might have other issues causing this.

If you check this out or not it is what it is but Flood that only melee cannot hurt elites or Spartans (when they activate their suit)

Hi, could you please make the component that required CUP CORE(I think it to be the flood pods) as a side mod that required the main one, so we could use this mod without the huge CUP CORE?

benjasinmas. I think the soldier has to be completely dead, as in they don't squirm while on the ground unconscious. Also their needs to be infection forms. I have seen them reanimate corpses and infect.

Does the flood infect? I was doing tests because I want to do a series on Arma 3 about Halo, but I noticed that the floods do not infect dead soldiers, will there be an update that allows it? Or is it within the mod but some of my settings cancel it?

@devourerking12 I see. Would you be able to remove the dependency from the steam page then and just note that it needs CUP core to make the pod work? That way their's no confusion for players who try and fix the dependency when I dont have it loaded on maps that don't need CUP core.

@svaughan it's litterally just for the flood pods. Before this update their was no dependancy on CUP, and those structures existed. It may not be just using the rocks but its just for the spore pod fire support.

@svaughan dev* lol. And it does use just rocks it uses multiple effects and scripts from effects in cup core. Unfortunately the person who wrote the script isn’t available to rewrite it at this time.

You get what you get.
Sorry to be blunt and I cannot speak for Web. But I doubt it's just rocks. There's Buildings as well, so he customized a number of the CUP structures for the mod. It's never JUST rocks.
From the mod description:
"STRUCTURE DETAIL: shoot the flood doors to open, they will automatically close again shortly after, Melee is coming soon for the doors."

"This mod adds Flood stuctures".

Could you ask the Sci fi fire support+ guy for his model instead of using CUP core? not really a fan of having to tack that on my modlist just for some flood rocks...

@Payne likely because it has objects and models from CUP in it. Terrains Core is purely objects found in CUP. Not the actual maps themselves.

I cant kill the infection forms with bullets or covenant weapons for some reason even if i change their health values. Only meelee will kill them

I can't get infection forms to turn enemies. When they approach dead bodies, both of them pop and delete.
