Everything is fine on my end, i've checked the files and everythings is good.
Try typing "snd_restart" in the console while in-game. If that doesn't work, unsubscribe and subscribe to the mod

Hey mate, i've changed the firing sound and corrected the normal maps.
Check if the sounds are for your liking, if not, add me in steam and i'll give you a version without custom sounds.

the firing sounds effects sounds like it's suppressed or something like that, is there anyway to make them better than they are now?

Mate, you didn't invert the green channel in your normal maps, you should correct all of those.
Also don't use "$phongexponent" if you already have a "$phongexponent texture "
