In case of any problems speak up, and me or one of the regulars will try to help you ;)
Try the usual dance - verify game files on Steam (it will also re-download and update all your mods), clear configs if it won't help
That maks me suspect the issue is most likely on your side, but I'll catch up on mod updates tomorrow and get back to you.
Myb for not making it clearer, but when I said I tried it with your load order, I meant I tried it with only the base mods installed and enabled, with both your load order and auto-sorted (I think they're the same though right?).
I'm assuming you can make a colony fine with these mods so I'm guessing it's something wrong with my game?
Which mods did you add specifically? If you list them, I can try to help you point out the culprit.
The oldschool method is to remove half of them and boot up the game. If the issues is still there, you eliminated 50% suspects from the list. Now halve what's left and so on, until you find which mod you shouldn't have added.
Btw, it's healthy to not add more than 5-10 mods at once, without testing if the game works properly.
I've tried it with a few mods added and using your load order.
- Commander
- Conductor
- Tyrannic
- Luminary
Remove/swap them with Character Editor (with Vanilla UI Expanded, CE menu is probably hidden. You can either change VUIE settings to show it or CE settings to set a key bind) to fix current tps issues and disable them in Vanilla Traits Expanded settings to prevent appearing in the future.
You can add Dinosauria though.
So try removing SU:W if that bothers you. But between the two I actually consider dropping Replace Stuff, as it can be very taxing on performance.
I never used P-Music, but I also didn't hear anything about it being a perf-eater. Give it a try, shouldn't be too bad ;)
I was supecting that, thanks for confirmation! I subbed Locks 2 for Locks 1 very recently, due to performance issues with its first iteration. As it's a rarely useful, I removed it from the list, but if it's essential for anyone, here's a Locks 2 fork [github.com] that supposedly fixes the pen issue.
@KNægteN
I skipped it mostly cause of the performance hit. (Also, I like the minimalistic vanilla style, and Yayo's is very flashy.) There are no hard incompatibilities though, should work without issues. Drop the Overcapped Accuracy if you end up going for it - it also taxes the performance, and Yayo's accuracy algorithm should be good enough to make OA redundant.
Either way, might even be a good idea to switch to Yayo's permanently just for the enabled accuracy. I'll test that on the weekend.
Also, ability to give each pawn different late game armor + weapon makes them more unique.
my only pet peeve is why should i need this many weapons sets and armor? lol
Peculiar. How it manifests, this being outdoors? If you could join me in the discord here [discord.com] and throw in some screenshots in #dumpster-fires, I'll try to help.
